Alice quickly broke the lock on the door.

"Come on guys." Alice smiled and took off the scarf around her head. Jasper had led Elena inside right behind him and took off his hoodie. "It's a festival. Wouldn't want to make a scene." Alice had a taunting tone in her voice but a smile on her face.

Elena finally looked up and saw two unknown vampires staring at them. One of them was on the shorter side with wild dark blonde hair. The other was much taller and more built. He reminded her of Emmett. The biggest difference in these vampires and the ones that she trusted was their eye color. They were blood red and staring right at her.

A few seconds later another body joined the group in the hallway. Elena looked over and saw a younger girl around her age with slicked back blonde hair approaching the group. She had tossed back the hood of her cape. "Enough." The vampire strutted over to everyone.

"Jane." Edward acknowledged.

"Aro sent me to see what was taking so long." The blonde looked between the other two red eyed vampires before turning around and walking away. She hadn't even acknowledged anyone else. Elena gave a look displaying how rude she thought the girl was.

Edward started leading Bella away and Jasper gently pushed Elena in front of him so he could be behind her. Alice stepped in between both girls so that way there was an ally on both sides of them.

"Just do as she says." Alice whispered to both girls. The taller vampire handed a robe to Edward before they turned a corner.

The group was led down a few hallways and a staircase before coming to an elevator. The two male Volturi vampires entered before turning to look at the group of five waiting for them to join. "Are we all supposed to fit in there?" Elena asked the room. Edward just had a small barely noticeable half smile before leading his family in. He knew she was nervous and making jokes. She was trying to lighten the mood but maybe this time she should keep her mouth shut.

Jasper stood as close to Elena as he could while keeping aware of their surroundings. After the elevator stopped they all stepped out and were greeted by a beautiful Italian woman at a front desk. "Vampires have receptionist?" Elena scoffed and rolled her eyes. What was this, a business?

Finally the group came up to a pair of bronze double doors that looked like they had scales on them. Jane had opened the doors and immediately Elena was greeted by a gigantic room with the highest ceiling. The ceiling looked like a bunch of empty frames leading up to a smaller enclosed space with windows letting in sunlight. Looking forward she saw three throne looking chairs and three men sitting atop them.

"Sister." A voice spoke. "They send you to bring back one and you bring back three," The boy looked over to Elena and Bella. "And two halves." Elena scrunched up her face at his math. He had a point but he also didn't. "Such a clever girl."

"What a happy surprise." The man on the middle throne stood up and widened his arms out. "Bella is alive, after all." The man had straight long black hair and approached the group with a wide smile on his face. "Isn't that wonderful." His eyes flickered to Elena for a moment before continuing to walk to Edward. "I love a happy ending." He took Edward's hand from Bella's. "They are so rare."

"La Tua Cantante." Aro's eyes darkened. "Her blood appeals to you so much, it makes me thirsty. How can you stand to be so close to her?"

"It's not without difficulty." Edward choked out.

"Aro can read every thought I've ever had with one touch." Edward explained to the human girls. "And now you know everything. So get on with it."

"You're quite a soul reader yourself Edward." Aro spoke softly. "Though you can't read Bella's thoughts. Or young Elena's." Aro's gaze wandered towards the other human girl who was clinging onto Jasper.
