The second round of the Chunin Exams finally ended. We were told to follow a chunin ninja. We were now standing in a weird arena? There was a statue of 2 arms, making a ninja seal. In front of the statue, our team senseis were standing there. There were 7 teams who passed the second round of the exam. The Hokage was standing ahead of the team senseis, 4 Konoha Jounin ninja on his left and 4 on his right. Our first written exam's proctor, Ibiki Morino was also here.

The Hokage gave a big speech on what this exam was for and why the Chunin Exams are so important. Kabuto Yakushi decided to forfeit. Naruto was scolding him for quitting but I quickly covered his mouth. In midst of this chaos, I knew the attention was on us. I met eyes with Kakashi-sensei. I used the sign language we were taught in the academy. I signed the words 'Sasuke in trouble. Human snake ninja bit him.' I so hoped that he understood my sign language. It was hard making signs with one hand while trying to keep Naruto from whining.

It seems like my message was interpreted by more than just Kakashi-sensei. I saw 7 heads turn to me. The Hokage, Kakashi-sensei, Ibiki Morino, Anko Mitarashi, Sasuke, Shikamaru and a jounin ninja whose name I didn't know. Shikamaru looked mildly confused but more horrified. He looked around at the teams that passed. He saw no one looking anything like a snake. He groaned silently. It was a bit amusing, I would have laughed if I was joking about Orochimaru.

Kakashi-sensei sent a smile in return. He knew about the situation, that's good. Our forest of death exam proctor, Anko, was glaring at Sasuke. The jounin ninja was holding Anko by the shoulder, in the off chance that she came at Sasuke. The Hokage just slightly glanced at Sasuke, as if he didn't want to draw attention to Sasuke. Okay, so keep attention off Sasuke. That's an impossible task when this bastard demands it like he can't live without it.
Ugh! Why do I have to babysit my teammates?! This is not something I should be doing. It's Kakashi-sensei's job...

>>>>>>>>

Well, that ended up being very unfortunate for me. Sasuke's match happened first. Kakashi-sensei had warned him to not use any chakra since it might trigger the 'curse mark'. Now, the situation ended up making Sasuke gain even more attention. People were saying he is so strong that he doesn't even need chakra to beat his opponents. I don't really know how to take attention off him. It's like he is the main character of a show or something...

Soon, it was my turn to fight. I was up against Ino. She had been training more and more. I can tell from the slight muscles in her arms. She is a great opponent. A strong mind, good judgement, a bit naive but that's just part of her charm. Also, she uses her family's mind control jutsu with responsibility. She is good at remembering things, maybe not a nerd like me but she is better than others. She also knows me quite well, that's an advantage but I know her well too. They balance each other out. But, I just know that this fight would have been much more fun if we didn't have the pressure of the chunin exams and the fact that I had to gain more attention.
