Well, that ended badly...

I had provoked Sasuke into coming back to his senses. I stood on guard as I protected Naruto from any misfired attacks. I noticed that the fight between Grass-nin and Sasuke looked a lot like mine when I fought against the Grass-nin, except that Sasuke was able to watch all the movements and predict them. The grass-nin had started to fight back. Yet the grass-nin was holding back. I could tell since the grass-nin could use wind-style jutsu and earth-style jutsu. He wasn't using any... Plus, when he fought against me, he was much faster. That means I was faster than Sasuke. Since I couldn't even land a hit on him then, he must be holding back now... Why was he holding back? Is he still toying with us? This man is a lot more dangerous than Zabuza or Kakashi-sensei. He could use all that chakra but still not sweat. He was letting himself be hurt... He wanted to see how we would react.

I soon realized that he was only here because he wanted to see the last Uchiha. I quickly picked Naruto up in my arms and hid him behind some bushes and roots. I created an illusion to hide him completely. I rushed to Sasuke's side. "Sasuke, this man is toying with us. We cannot beat him, at least not at our current level. We need to find a way to get away from him while taking Naruto with us." I used the communication jutsu. Sasuke slightly flinched when he heard me in his head but still kept his focus. I tried to join in the fight, but the grass-nin just kicked me in the stomach and threw me to the side. I quickly put chakra to my back and stuck to the tree. I coughed out some blood from the impact.

"You should listen to your teammate Sasuke-kun. You should run while you still can! And girl, this is not your fight. Stay out of it!" He taunted Sasuke and threatened me. I smirked while wiping the blood off my mouth. "Now!" I shouted. Sasuke immediately understood and stepped back. The explosion tags on the grass-nin's leg exploded. I had put them there when he kicked me. I had hidden them by putting an illusion on them. In that split second, I replaced myself with a shadow clone. I hid my chakra by spreading it throughout the tree. I was hiding in the tree behind Sasuke. "Trust me. Switch with me," I whispered. He hesitated for a split second, but I already grabbed him and switched places. I transformed into Sasuke. I pulled my chakra out of the tree and back into myself. I made my chakra mimic Sasuke's chakra signature. Sasuke had transformed into me and hid his chakra. Perfect.

I smirked as Sasuke. I had observed Sasuke since the academy. I saw him fighting against Naruto almost every single day. I had seen him fight Zabuza, Kakashi-sensei, and this Grass-nin. I knew Sasuke's moves like the back of my hand. Now that I was transformed into him, I could easily mimic him. I charged back at the Grass-nin exactly how Sasuke would. I had seen the grass-nin fight Sasuke. He was using a pattern of the same moves because Sasuke has only a set number of moves in his fighting style. As I fought against the grass-nin, I was able to counter him using Sasuke's moves. The grass-nin was trying to predict what move Sasuke would use. However, I already knew what move Sasuke would have used and was able to predict what the Grass-nin was going to do to counter it. I was limited to Sasuke's moves, but I had to try. I needed my plan to succeed.
