"I used to float, now I just fall down. I used to know, but I'm not sure now. What I was made for. What was I made for?" – What Was I Made For (Billie Eilish)

"I'm bored," Coach Sue announced through her megaphone after the Cheerios finished rehearsing their most insane routine yet. Violette huffed in disappointment, leaning over to shift her sock (one of the one's Quinn had gifted her) in order to hide the burn on her ankle after twirling fire per the cheer coach's request. Quinn had tried to talk Violette out of it, but the girl had been determined that if the other Cheerios could do it, then so could she. She hadn't been wrong about that, exactly, the few girls twirling fire in the routine alongside her just happened to be hiding matching burns too.

"Ladies, I am at a loss," Sue sighed as the team gathered in front of her, "Brittany, please remind me of how I single-handedly put cheerleading on the map,"

"In 1979, you directed a made-for-TV movie about the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders called The Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders," Brittany recited dejectedly.

"That is correct, and in the meantime, what's changed?"

"Personal grooming habits?" Quinn suggested.

"Blue Ray and DVDs?" Violette also added.

"What's changed is I have completely lost interest, and ladies, I blame you," Sue declared, as Violette frowned back at the woman, "Becky, more silicone falsies,"

"Got it, coach,"

"You will each enhance your bust with an additional pair of chicken cutlets in an attempt to add some jiggle to what is the most boring routine I have ever witnessed... Becky, double the chicken cutlets for Shirley Temple,"

"But, Coach Sylvester, this is the hardest routine we've ever done," Violette spoke up in confusion as Becky handed her two lots of chicken cutlets and she tried to focus on the topic at hand, rather than being offended that she was the only girl being handed extra cutlets, "Last year we were around the square when we just added singing to our routine-"

"-Outside the box," Quinn corrected quietly, leaning towards Violette.

"Yeah, that," Violette agreed, shaking her head before continuing, "This year we have people on giant bike ramps doing flips. We have girls twirling fire, blue wigs and Lindsay and Emily are wearing tops with sparklers on the end. We're already the favourite to win at nationals and no one even knows about the bikes and the fire twirling," Violette explained, her Cheerios nodding in agreement.

"And yet I am still so very bored," Sue said, picking up her megaphone once more, "Even things I used to think were hilarious. Case in point. Sandbags. Slap yourself with a chicken cutlet," Sue instructed as Santana reluctantly did so.

"Now slap Thumbelina," Sue said, and with a sigh Santana gently smacked her chicken cutlet into Violette's face. She frowned at the cheer coach, who looked blankly at the squad of cheerleaders before her.

"See? Not even a chuckle,"

"The problem is you keep trying to make a bigger and bigger spectacle," Quinn told Coach Sue, "No matter how hard we try, we can't make a routine work, unless you find a way to make it interesting for you. You have to find a way to top yourself,"

"Q, you just may have a point. But to be sure, slap yourself with a chicken cutlet."

...

"Ladies, my "Sueclear" weapon," Sue declared as she showed off her giant cannon to the Cheerios, "Becky."
