POV: Kapook

As I was about to start my day at the hospital, Panly stormed into my office unannounced, her eyes red with fury. With all her strength and anger, she grabbed my collar with both hands, almost lifting me off the floor as she tightened her grip. She wasn't just glaring—she was beyond that. She was absolutely raving mad. What on earth did I do to cause this? I wondered.

"Damn you, fool! Who is that girl? Speak, or I'll end you right here and now! Tell me the truth!" Her voice echoed through the building, filled with rage. The security staff, alarmed by her outburst, stood on alert, ready to intervene if she became more dangerous.

"Leave us. We need to discuss this personal matter alone," I said with authority. The tension in the room eased slightly as people withdrew, leaving us in privacy. My secretary quietly closed the door behind them. Panly, still gripping my collar tightly, was nearly bruising my neck with her rough hurtful hands.

I tried to stay calm. "What's wrong with you? You're assaulting me—let's discuss this like rational adults, shall we?"

But my words did nothing to calm her. Instead, she pulled something from her jacket pocket and threw it angrily in my face. It was a Polaroid picture—of her, bedridden and in a coma, with Ciize by her side, holding what seemed to be a birthday cake. On the back of the photo was a handwritten note: "Happy birthday, my dear patient! Get better soon. From, Ciize, with love."

With that, I had no choice but to tell her the truth—the whole truth.

POV: Milk

After learning the awful truth, I fought back tears, my voice shaking with anger as I confronted them one by one for the terrible injustice they committed against Ciize—the person who sacrificed everything, leaving nothing behind, just to save my life.

"How could you do this to me, Uncle? Of all people, you were the one I trusted the most, and you've disappointed me, wounded my very soul," I said, my voice filled with hurt.

I continued, turning toward Dr. Kapook. "And you, Doctor, you are a disgrace. You've basked in the recognition and glory, taking it all as if you could stomach the shame of stealing someone else's achievement—especially Ciize's. Shame on you. Shame on all of you!"

"It's your ridiculous confidentiality that brought us to this mess!" the doctor shot back, cutting deep with her words.

She couldn't stay silent. "Ciize respected your absurd request for secrecy, and so did I! She meant so much to me that I blindly followed her lead, just as she did for you. But you're the fool for not respecting us. We did everything we could to save your life! She wasn't the only one with a foolish heart! Yet here you are, unable to understand the sacrifices we made, and I'm the one condemned for speaking the truth." Her fury was uncontrollable, lashing out at me—the person who also helped save me from the illness.

In the end, we all broke down, sobbing from the intensity of it all. The room fell into a heavy silence, the weight of emotion suffocating us. No one dared to speak until the tears subsided.
