As Kin navigated through the city, he noticed that more soldiers were patrolling the city than usual. The conversation he overheard in the park echoed in his mind: the soldiers were searching for him. Feeling uneasy, Kin avoided detection by slipping past players and NPCs, ducking out of sight whenever soldiers approached.
What is this? What's with the quest? Why is the value of dropping items from killing monsters from the quest so high? Why does it say hell so many times in the item description? Why are there suddenly so many soldiers on patrol? What mistake have I made? Wasn't the quest completed perfectly and no soldiers died?
Kin continued to wonder if there was a reason why this situation happened. He arrived near the butchery. He started to approach the butcher. Before he approached the butcher, Kin saw a soldier walking towards him and he recognized the soldier. He was Clark.
Kin froze in panic. He slowly turned around to escape. But before he could escape, Clark saw him. Clark started to walk faster toward Kin. Kin turned around and ran. Clark started running after Kin. Kin slips passed NPCs and players along the road. Clark ran faster so he wouldn't lose Kin.
"Kin! Stop!" Clark called, but Kin only picked up speed, pushing through the crowded street. Clark pursued, yelling, "Hey!"
From in front of Kin appeared a soldier walking towards him. Clark saw him and shouted toward him. "That's Kin. Catch him!"
The soldier heard Clark and looked at Kin. He trunded and tried to block Kin's running direction. Kin attempted to dodge, but before Kin could react, the soldier managed to catch Kin's arm. He pulled Kin's arm down and made Kin fall. The soldier managed to hold Kin on the ground and held him down with his knees. Clark ran faster until he stopped next to Kin. Clark pulled the soldier's body to free Kin. Clark grabbed Kin's arm and helped him stand.
"What are you doing? He is our savior. He is the one who helps your friends." Clark reprimanded the soldier who had restrained Kin.
"Sorry Kin about that. Major Glav is looking for you. He wants to thank you in person for what you have done." Kin froze after hearing Clark's words.
