Twenty-two days into their journey, Kin and Clark caught a glimpse of a village within the forest when they tried looking for a monster. According to Clark's information, there was indeed a small village in the forest before arriving at Stolitsa CIty. After 21 days of uncomfortable sleep in the forest, they decided to head to the village, hoping for a more comfortable rest and maybe a good meal.

Upon their arrival at the village, there was no one on the street, but they noticed that several people were hiding inside the houses. Suddenly a green monster appeared. It looks like a toddler but with an overly old face. It was wearing a fabric that only covered its private area and its hand carried a log in one hand and a bag of food in the other. Clark instinctively ran towards the monster called a goblin.

Clark took out his sword and aimed it at the goblin's head. Unaware of Clark's movements, the goblin was unable to dodge and was fatally struck through its eye socket, the blade piercing through to the back of its skull. Kin, who was too late to react, tried to catch up and rushed to join Clark. The goblin had died and shattered into dust. Clark and Kin looked around them but found no other goblins.

After the goblin died, someone appeared and cautiously approached Kin and Clark. He was the villager who had previously peeked from inside the house. "You guys follow me inside, it's too dangerous here." he urged.

The villager who had just left the house immediately pulled Kin and Clark into his house. While carrying the food dropped by the goblin earlier. Kin and Clark followed to the resident's house. After they entered the house, the door was quickly closed.

"I'm sorry to surprise you both. Let me introduce myself, I'm Mogsa, the head of Dorf village." While he tried to catch his breath, he looked like an old man full of wrinkles, and white hair with a slightly crooked back reflecting years of wisdom.

Clark quickly responded. "I'm Clark and He is Kin. What's happening in this village, Mogsa? And why are goblins roaming around?"

While peeking from the window, Mogsa began explaining. "A group of goblins suddenly appeared a few days ago. They attacked this village and looted our food and livestock. With only the elderly, women, and children left in the village, we can't defend ourselves."

"But why don't I see any other goblins besides the one my friend killed?" Kin asked while scanning the area through the window.

"The goblin just now was the last goblin from a group of them that looted this village. They have attacked this village twice." Said Mogsa.

Clark, engaged in the conversation, asked. "Do you know where the goblins are hiding?"

"Not exactly," Mogsa replied, but I'm certain that they walked deeper into that forest when they finished looting this village," Mogsa answered while pointing in a direction.

He then sat, looking straight at Kin and Clark. "I want to ask for your help to protect this village from goblins. Or you can kill them. And for your help, I will compensate you."

A notification appeared in front of Kin.

Kin looked at Clark asking for his consent. Clark nodded. Kin then accepted the quest. "Okay, we will help you."

[You have accepted the quest Protect Dorf Village.]

After Kin accepted the quest, Clark asked Mogsa. "Mogsa, can we see where you store your food and livestock? We need to investigate first to fully understand the situation."

" Of course, follow me." Mogsa walked out of his house. Kin and Clark follow him. Mogsa walked towards a fairly tall building made of stone four meters high. After arriving at the building Mogsa stopped. He saw the building door open. They entered the building.

"This is the warehouse where we store wheat. As you can see there are only less than ten sacks of wheat left here." Clark and Kin looked around the warehouse while Mogsa explained.

After thoroughly searching the warehouse, Clark and Kin didn't find anything inside the warehouse. They came out from the warehouse and Mogsa pointed to an area of approximately one hectare where only a few cows remained.

"There is our livestock pen. There aren't many livestock left. All this would only be enough to feed us for five days. Meanwhile, our male villager will be back in three days." Just as Mogsa was explaining to Kin and Clark, six goblins infiltrated the livestock grazing area.

Kin was the first to spot them. "There are goblins!" he exclaimed, pointing toward the danger.

Clark and Mogsa turned to look where Kin was pointing at. When Clark and Mogsa looked, the goblins were killing one cow. Mogsa started to panic and yell at Kin and Clark. "Please stop them! If we lost that cow, we wouldn't last for three days."

"Let's go after it Kin." Clark immediately ran towards the little green intruder. Kin followed him. The goblins noticed Kin and Clark. They then left the livestock they just killed and ran. Due to the goblin's height only as tall as a small child, their running speed was not very fast so Kin and Clark could quickly catch up to them. Clark managed to get close to the two closest goblins, swing his sword, and manage to slash its legs. They fell but Clark kept running after the other goblins.

Without pausing, Clark shouted over his shoulder to Kin while still running. "Kin, you handle them."
