Chapter 16

"How? Do you want to try to find the bandit's base?"

Kin became aware of Clark's presence after engrossing himself in reading the quest explanation that appeared in front of him.

"It's better to try it. Maybe we can find the base and speed up the problem with this bandit." Clark turned his gaze back to the bartender in front of him, Emil. Where should we look for the bandit's base?"

[You have accepted the quest Looking for Bandit's Base on the road to Tzami City.]

Emil pointed at it somewhere. "Other adventurers are looking to the west of this city, in the direction of Tzami city."

"Okay thank you." Clark got up from his chair but Kin was still sitting in front of Emil.

Clark sat back down and looked at Kin. "Emil, do you know what the commotion is in front right there? I heard there is a connection with goblins."

"Ah, the commotion right there. There's a group of goblins attacking one of the villages nearby. In Dorf village if I'm not mistaken."

Clark was shocked when he heard that. "Kin, isn't it the same village that we visited last week?"

Kin nodded. "It seems so. So what about that group of goblins? Was there still a commotion even though the goblins were dead? Did they reappear?"

Just as Kin finished speaking, a man entered the adventurer's office, drawing Emil turned his attention to that person and waved at him. "Yohei, you came at the right time. These are the people you are looking for."

Kin and Clark looked at the person Emil called. The man named Yohei, is not very tall, maybe around Kin's height, but with a sturdy-looking body. Apart from that, his face is quite handsome with a sharp nose, big eyes, and a strong jawline. He looked at Emil then at Kin and Clark. He approached the bar, Kin and Clark sat in silence while looking at this Yohei, trying to guess what this man would do. Suddenly Yohei tapped Kin and Clark on the shoulder which surprised them.

"You guys the one that saved my village?" Yohei asked with his face made a big smile.

"Oh... Yes." Kin's answer stuttered.

Yohei looked at Kin and Clark with a grateful expression. "Thank you very much."

"you...'re welcome." Kin answered while confused, he then glanced at Clark looking for help but he also looked confused.

"You guys have helped my village, how can I help you?" Yohei offered.

Kin just kept quiet and looked at Yohei in disbelief. Clark noticed Kin was too confused to say anything, so he helped answer Yohei's question. "We want to go to Tzami city."

Yohei, Kin, and Emil looked at Clark. Yohei looked dumbfounded and went silent thinking about Clark's request.

While waiting for Yohei to answer, Kin pulled Clark away. "What are you doing?"

"Asked him to help us," Clark responded simply.

"Why don't you discuss it first? Or give me a code or something."

"I also wanted to give you some sign or maybe telepathy but I couldn't. Ha ha ha." Clark laughs but Kin cannot laugh with Clark's lame joke.

Then Clark continued. "What's important right now is that we need Yohei. If they are willing to help, that means we can immediately arrive at Tzami City."

"Hmmm......Well, hopefully, he will accept this very sudden request."

Kin and Clark returned to their seats. Yohei was still thinking about Clark's request.
