"I just got a weird ass call. It literally called me and said nothing. It's from a blocked number too."
I explained as I showed Chrisean my phone screen. Who the fuck could it have been and why call so late?
"Probably just some idiot ass kids trying to prank call and got the wrong number. It's most likely nothing."
"I think I'm going to go out to the studio for a little bit. I need to get some stuff off of my mind."
"This late? It's damn near midnight, Sehki."
"I'll be okay. I'll be back soon. I just want some peace for a little bit."
I grabbed my car keys and my studio keys, walking down the stairs and out of Chrisean's front door. Once I pulled into the parking lot, I noticed that there was a red Lamborghini that looked very similar to Ace's.
I pulled up closer, and it was Ace?! Huh?!
"Ace...? Is that you...?"
I questioned out loud cause I seen the window was cracked, but the person was looking down at something. A few seconds later, the figure started to move and it looked up at me.
"Sehki..?"
"ACE! Where the hell have you been?! I've been looking everywhere for you!"
I hopped out of my car, getting right next to Ace's window. She unlocked her car door, getting out and standing in front of me.
"I had to go away for two months. I just got back today. How have you been?"
"Horrible without you! Did you change your number? Everyone has been trying to reach you, but it keeps saying the number isn't in service anymore."
"I did. I missed you so much. I came here just to remind myself of all of the good times we used to have together. I wish we could have those good times again."
"We could! Look, I'm sorry for everything. I didn't mean to play with your feelings like I did. I love you, Ace. I even came out of the closet. I was so tired of hiding myself and my love for you. I have something to tell you, it's very important."
I got closer to Ace, but she slightly backed away. I was confused on why she was backing away from me.
"Sehki, you know I fucking love you til the death of me. I fucked up..."
"What do you mean? Fucked up with what?"
"While I was gone, I got a new girlfriend... and she actually kind of gives me a lot of.. peace, you know?"
"Oh, so I don't? Does she make you more happier than I do?"
I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Ace went missing for two months and just decided to replace everything we had over the last ten to fifteen years?
"I never said that, Sehki. You know I love you more than anything in this world. I just needed change from you, and you never changed. All I asked for was for you to be my girlfriend openly. How is that so hard to ask?"
