THIRD PERSON'S P.O.V Throughout the rest of the week, Tesehki continued to worry about Ace's wellbeing, but she still had to go along with being a mother.
Meanwhile in New Mexico, Ace was slowly but surely improving. Jude was sure to give Tesehki every single little update she had on Ace.
As Jude was changing Ace's head wrap, there was a huge knock on the door. Jude finished wrapping Ace's head and went over to the door, opening it to see Kaydence and another girl beside her that no one has ever seemed to mention.
"I'm sorry it took so long to get over here, I was just trying to mentally get myself together. I didn't want to come over here with negative energy and Ace would feel that. How has she been holding up?"
Kaydence peeked over Jude's shoulder slightly, then laid her eyes back on Jude. Jude started to smile as she seen Kaydence.
"She's been doing way better, actually. She's making progress everyday. And it's okay, seeing people like that can be very traumatic. All of her injuries are slowly healing, and her breathing is becoming better by the day."
"That's great, I'm glad to hear that. I've just been having a hard time processing what happened, I'm just glad they're both in jail. They can't get access to her anymore. Oh, by the way, this is our cousin Biggie. She and Ace used to be very close when they were younger."
Kaydence introduced the other female who was standing next to her. Jude smiled and held her hand out.

"It's nice to meet you both. I'm Jude, I'm going to be Ace's in home nurse and therapist from now on. When we get back to Baltimore, I'll be officially starting. I'm also very sorry to the both of you for what happened to Ace. It's terrible."
"Beyond fucking terrible! I literally have no words! They're so fucking lucky that they're in jail, because I definitely would've snatched the both of them up, real shit!"
Biggie was all hyped up at this point. Biggie adored Ace, they were the closest out of all cousins. They haven't spoke in the last year due to their small differences, but Biggie and Ace were the family dynamic duo.
It was always Biggie and Ace. Ace and Biggie. They're both gonna ride for each other, no matter what the case was.
Jude nodded in understanding, because she definitely understood where Biggie was coming from. She couldn't exactly relate to what any of them were currently going through, but it was such a heartbreaking thing to see.
"I understand you, Big. But calm down! This is my older sister we talking bout!"
"Yeah, nigga, and she's my younger cousin, fuck is you talkin bout! I keep telling yah that Tesehki ain't good news, yah never listen! She's been causing Ace so much pain since they met! If I find out that this is a set up, it's up and it's stuck! Forever, nigga!"
Biggie now was shouting as she was becoming more frantic. Kaydence was now looking at Biggie, completely dumbfounded. She couldn't believe what she was hearing.
"What are you talking about, Biggie?! Why would Tesehki have any reason to set her up?! That doesn't make sense! You evidently have no clue how much they love each other!"
"Love?! LOVE?! Tesehki has been bad news for Ace since the day they met in high school! How many times have they fucked around in high school while she was fucking around with dudes and Ace got jumped for it?! How many times has Ace been depressed and suicidal because of this girl, because she wouldn't give her a chance?! Why does she want to be with her now, huh?! Cause she's successful and is rich?! Tesehki never loved Ace for real, it's always just been sex to her!"
"Why would she decide to not put their child up for adoption then, Big? Why would she say yes to marrying Ace if she didn't love her? Why is this all a set up to you?"
"It's all about MONEY to her, Kaydence! It's always been about the money and sex! I think it's a set up because Siya was apart of her crew, and she just wants MONEY!"
Biggie was just in hysterics at this point. She was over the top upset, and probably didn't mean everything she was saying. But since day one, she's never felt like Tesehki was the one for Ace.
She would always be the one to pick Ace up when Tesehki let her down. It hurt her to see her younger cousin like that because of Tesehki's selfish behavior.
Jude started to comfort Biggie by pulling her into a hug. She hated seeing other people so upset.
"I know you're worried about Ace. But we already know for a proven fact that she'll be okay. Nothing else is going to happen to her, and I'm going to be with her to make sure of that. Sometimes when things are too much and our minds are everywhere, so we start to come up with scenarios that most likely aren't true."
"No one knows Tesehki like the family does! She acts one way, and then she does the complete fucking opposite! She's just a bitch!"
Biggie sobbed into Jude's arms. Jude held onto her tighter as Kaydence shook her head, running her fingers through her hair.
"Imma go in the room to see my sister now, if that's okay."
"Yes, that's perfectly fine. Go ahead."
Jude informed Kaydence. Kaydence took a deep breath and slowly walked into the room, closing the door behind her. The look of how Ace was absolutely terrified her.
"Fuck, dawg... how could anyone ever do this to you, out of all people..."
Kaydence mumbled as she sat down in the chair next to the hospital bed. She looked around the room, then back at Ace. Grabbing her hand gently, she started to talk softly.
"I love you, A. I know we've been through a lot of shit, but you've always been my role dawg, my best friend. I promise I'm going to start being a better little sister to you. I know I can be such a pain in the ass, but it's cause I love you. We can work on our relationship once you wake up. I know it shouldn't have took this much, and I'm sorry..."
Kaydence rested her head on Ace's chest. As soon as she did that, she suddenly felt and seen Ace's foot twitch. Her eyes widened and she jumped up. She then noticed the heart monitor was beeping faster, meaning that Ace was on the way to waking up.
"Yo! Come in here! Big! Jude! Someone, come in! It's Ace, she's waking up!"
