Manda stopped Ace.

Manda: Let's say.

Everyone paused.

"You people surely knew what is this all about don't you think."

"Esme isn't still aware of it."

"Esme.."

Esme looks at him intensely.

Manda: Do you trust in supernatural powers?

Esme: no.

Manda: did you see the darkness right now casted by Hakai with purple eyes?

Esme: yes..

Manda: what do you think was it?

Esme: maybe my own fear?

Manda: Exactly!

"Remember this, they are superpowers if you think they are, they are fear if you think they are fear."

"If depends upon you."

"Peakwest is a system which pushes you to your core where you reach beyond the human limit and get superpowers."

"Would you believe in this?"

Esme: No...

Manda: but it is.

Yuki whistles.

The Dogs suddenly summoned and starts to prey at Manda.

Yuki: stop teaching Esme unnecessary things!

Manda smirked, unfazed by the dogs' sudden aggression.

Manda: "Unnecessary? Knowledge is never unnecessary, Yuki. Besides, Esme needs to understand his potential."

Esme looked from Manda to the snarling dogs, confusion swirling in her mind.

Esme: "But I don't want superpowers. I just want to be normal."

Manda stepped closer, his voice lowering.

Manda: "Normal? What if 'normal' is just a cage? You have the chance to break free."

Yuki, still tense, interjected.

Yuki: "Listen, Manda, this isn't about breaking free. It's about survival. There are forces at play that you don't understand."

Manda laughed lightly, his eyes sparkling with mischief.

Manda: "Ah, but that's where you're wrong. Understanding is the first step to survival. Look around, Esme. What do you see?"

Esme hesitated, glancing at the shifting shadows cast by the trees.

Esme: "I see... darkness."

Manda nodded, his expression serious.

Manda: "And what is darkness if not a reflection of your own fears? If you can confront it, you can harness it."

Yuki stepped between them.

Yuki: "You're playing with fire, Manda. Not everyone can handle the heat."

Manda's smile widened, his gaze never leaving Esme.

Manda: "But isn't that the point? The ones who dare to face the flames are the ones who emerge stronger. So, Esme, are you ready to step into the fire?"

Esme swallowed hard, the weight of his words pressing down on him.

Esme: "I... I don't know."

Yuki turned to her, concern etched on her face.
