Yuki thought, I can’t focus on breaking his barrier now; there’s no point. Breaking a barrier-less technique with bare hands or swords is like swinging a sword in the air.
Ikkei, meanwhile, was biding his time. Now then, this is the perfect moment to activate the realm’s effects.
Suddenly, the area was filled with blue smoke, and crucifixes appeared everywhere—some buried, some floating in midair.
Yuki’s eyes narrowed. “What is this... Did he activate his realm technique?”
In an instant, gravity seemed to vanish. Everything and everyone began to levitate.
Ikkei smirked. “I can almost smell my victory.”
The crucifixes glowed with a sinister aura, their sure-hit amplifiers locking onto Yuki. A crucifix pierced Yuki’s soul, sending waves of agony through him. He could feel his body grow numb as the spiritual crucifixion took hold, blood dripping from his mouth.
Yuki murmured, “Is this... my premium death?” A wry smile formed on his lips.
Mike, standing at the edge of the chaos, began walking towards them. Unaware of the barrier-less technique's reach, he suddenly felt his own death looming before him.
Mike whispered,
“Is this... the end?”

The city shone under the bright sun as people bustled about their day.
Mike’s voice broke through the din. “Shall we, uh, get Andrea with us and go to the beach?”
Andrea’s response was immediate. “I don’t want to.”
Mike frowned. “Andrea, shut up. Please, Mother?”
Helena glanced at her husband, Robin. Robin shrugged, “I don’t mind. Why not take your sister to your favorite beach spot, Mike?”
Mike’s face lit up. “Really?!”

Mike’s jaw dropped at the sight of the beach. He held Andrea’s hand as they walked with Helena and Robin.
“Wow,” he said, “this place is so peaceful.”
Robin smiled. “Enjoy yourself. You wanted a trip to Singapore, so why not see the places you love?”
Andrea tugged at Helena’s hand. “Are we going home soon?”
Helena nodded. “Yes, tomorrow.”
Mike’s face fell, disappointed. Helena ruffled his hair. “Mike, you’re 15 now. Responsibilities will be here sooner than you think.”
Mike sighed, “Yeah, yeah. Come on, Andrea!” He pulled her into the waves, and they splashed water at each other, laughter filling the air.
The family joined in, a moment of pure joy washing over them. Yet, amid the happiness, Mike thought, *Mom... Dad... do you really want to divorce? You look so happy together. Then why...*
The knowledge that his family would splinter on their return home loomed over him, clouding the joy of the moment.

Mike took a shaky breath. “So this is it... A dream before death, huh?” He sighed, “I wish I had one last chance—to escape this hell and see them together again.” He closed his eyes, accepting his fate.
Yuki, watching Mike suffer, clenched his fists.
"I’ve never been in a tighter spot in my life,"
he thought, spitting blood.
"But I’m not backing down."
He steeled himself, his spirit ablaze with determination.
"In this era, today, I’m the strongest in Peak West. I’m not wasting my potential."
"If I can’t 'be' the beast,"
"I’ll 'unleash' the beast."
With a final surge of power, Yuki cried out, blood dripping from his face,
[ “𝘿𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝘼𝙡𝙥𝙝𝙪𝙨 𝙆𝙞𝙣𝙜!” ]
