Alright, let's go through this one last time. My name is Tsukune Aono. I was once just a regular human until I started attending Yokai Academy. There, I met several girls, and while they all showed me affection, my heart belongs to Moka. After everything we've been through together, it's because of her that I've become the man I am today—or rather, the vampire-ghoul I am today.

I've never been a fan of harems, and honestly, I wish there were some guys who could take Mizore, Yukari, Kurumu, and Ruby off my hands so I can focus on building a future with Moka.

If only I had known how quickly my wish would be answered. If there's a God—and I'm pretty sure there is—then He must have orchestrated this new chapter for me and the girls. But I never expected them to come with such different personalities. Or from another part of the world.

Okay, let's recap one last time. My name is Miles Grayson. I'm 16 years old, and for the past four years, I've been the one and only Shadow-Bat. Let's talk about how my life turned upside down. I discovered that my parents are not just ordinary people; my mom is a vampire, and my dad is a Primal—a member of an alien race of evolved Saiyans.

Crazy, right?

My younger brother and I live in Owensville, named after the legendary Owen Carter, a metahuman who fought against gods and demons. Ever since I've taken on the mantle of Shadow-Bat, I've found myself battling all sorts of creatures—things I once thought were purely fictional.

Monsters.

No joke. Monsters are real, and they've been terrorizing the West Coast for ages, consuming children and leaving a trail of devastation in their wake. It hasn't been easy trying to be a hero while resisting the pull of the dark side, especially considering how psychotic some humans can be.

My cousin, my younger brother, and I have done everything we could to keep the West Coast safe. Now that a task force has been established to manage the monsters in our area, we thought we could finally relax—maybe even take a vacation.

Unfortunately, Toby had other plans. Plans that would drag us into what could be the greatest shift in my life.

The sun dipped low on the horizon, casting a warm glow over the city as Miles Grayson leaned against a lamppost, arms crossed and a skeptical look on his face. His wild, spiky hair resembled Goku's iconic style, a testament to his adventurous spirit. At 5'11", he had a lean build that spoke of countless nights spent training as Shadow Bat. His dark brown skin gleamed, and his emerald green eyes scanned the bustling street ahead.

Toby, his 13-year-old younger brother, bounced on his heels beside him. He was a few inches shorter at 5'5", his lean frame brimming with youthful energy. His bright eyes sparkled with excitement as he grinned up at Miles. "C'mon, Miles! Just think about it! A whole year at Yokai Academy! We'll learn so much!"

Evan Prime, their 18-year-old cousin, adjusted his glasses, his wild spiky hair framing his face like a halo. With emerald black eyes that gleamed with curiosity, he looked between the two brothers. "It could be an opportunity for us, Miles. We could gain valuable insights into monster-human coexistence. Who knows what kind of magic we might learn?"

Miles shook his head, his expression firm. "You both know what we've been through these last few months. We've faced chaos and monsters at every turn. You think it's a good idea to throw ourselves into a place filled with even more?"

Toby pouted, crossing his arms. "But what if it helps us understand them better? I want to protect you guys and everyone else. If we can learn to coexist, maybe we can make a difference."
