It had been a day since the stupid argument between Graham and me.
And I did not know exactly what to say, because I wasn't mad, actually I was, but not at Graham. I was mad at Ryder, he said I liked him! Which I didn't think I did. I was angry at him and his smart mouth. I wanted him to shut up so badly. Just to get his mouth and rip it off of him so he could stop talking and embarrassing me! But sadly, something is meant to be just dreams.
As we were walking to school, Graham was telling me about some weird shit he saw at the mall back in Pennsylvania, when he was finished, I couldn't help but ask,
"Why did you tell Ryder instead of me?"
Graham looked at me a little surprised. "Well, because he's a guy who has a girlfriend, and you've never dated anyone, so I just wanted advice," he explained.
I looked at him and nodded in comprehension, but in my head, I was so confused. Ryder and Matilda did not, and I repeat, not count as a couple! They are just people who like to hook up! Well in my perspective, since they did break up more than they stayed together! "Oh."
"Oh?" Graham repeated, squinting his eyes in confusion.
"Like, I-got-it, oh, "
He nodded as we continued to walk to school, "I've never told you about Maya, have you?"
I shook my head, just noticing that I didn't even know Maya. "You haven't actually,"
A smirk played on his face as he opened his mouth and rapped, "Well, she's like, the nicest, prettiest, and funniest girl in the whole world! She's also a vegetarian, and she has pretty, eyes! And she loves nature! She also figures skates, and wants to be a figure skater when she's older but, I told her a model would suit her-
"Woah, say this a little slower buddy," I chuckled awkwardly as I tried to shove down the jealousy that was starting to arise.
"She's..." he let out a small smile as he looked to the distance as if it had all the answers in the world. This is not a fucking Disney movie! Just say what you want to say! "my everything,"
I smiled as I felt the sudden urge to punch this Maya girl.
My everything! She's my everything! The fuck? This is not a stupid rom-com! This is the real world!
"That's adorable," I lied as I shoved my jealousy back down.
He smiled as he said, "I literally love you!"
"I love you too."
