The next day, it was English again, so that meant, more Ryder! Yay!!!!
"Ugh!" I groaned as Graham and I went on our usual morning walks to school. My phone is in my hands as I look at today's schedule.
"What?" Graham asked.
"I have stupid AP English today!" I complained.
"Didn't you love English?" He asked, confused.
"Did, that's the keyword," I grumble as I slouch, my mood dropping 1003 feet down to the ground.
"Since when did you stop loving it?"
"Since Mrs.Monfent decided it would be a good idea to partner me and Ryder's partner."
He lets out a small chuckle. "He isn't that bad,"
I rolled my eyes. "Yeah, not to you. He's your best friend."
Graham let out a small shrug. "Believe it or not you guys are more similar than you think."
I give him a confused look. "How?"
"You both so....stubborn,"
"That's it?" I asked, expecting a little more. "We're both stubborn?"
He let out another shrug. "Trust me, that one quality makes you guys practically twins."
I rolled my eyes. "Yeah, whatever."

"Hey," Ryder said as I sat at the desk in front of him.
"Hey," I replied awkwardly, looking straight ahead, wishing Graham was at Ryder's spot instead of Ryder. How fun would that be?
No one talked until we had to go back to working on our project. Only nods and shrugs. Neither of us knew what to say.

Ryder left about 20 into the project, wandering somewhere in the hallway.
I couldn't care less. I did not want to see or talk to the dude. He was getting on my nerves, and he wasn't even talking!
About 5 minutes later, I had to go to the washroom, so I did, but as I was walking to the washroom I saw Matilda and Ryder in the middle of the hallway, seeming really mad at each other as I saw his face doing the weird twitching thing as Matilda just gave an annoyed smile, as she rolled her eyes as Ryder finished his sentence.
"We're over dude! I don't like you!"
"The fuck you mean you don't like me!" He said, his voice filled with anger as he looked at her, genuine confusion on his face. "Just yesterday you told me you loved me?"
"Yesterday, that's the keyword."
He glared at her, "Oh you...."
I didn't hear the rest of the conversation because I went into the washroom, not wanting Ryder to see me overhearing their conversation and getting me in trouble, or yelling. But I'm not going to lie, I was quite curious to know what would happen next.
