It had been years since All Might's fateful encounter with Bill Cipher. The world had moved on, and heroes continued to defend peace. However, for a young Izuku Midoriya, life wasn't as bright as the world of heroes he admired. At only four years old, he had just received devastating news: he was quirkless.

The words from the doctor echoed in his mind. "I'm sorry, but it appears Izuku won't develop a quirk."

His dreams of becoming the greatest hero, like All Might, felt shattered. He wandered outside the clinic, wiping away tears, his small fists clenched tightly.

"Why... Why me? I just wanted to help people..." he whispered to himself, voice trembling.

As he stood in the shadow of the setting sun, a strange shift in the air caught his attention. The atmosphere seemed to distort, and the colors around him flickered. From behind, a familiar, yet unnerving voice spoke, dripping with mischief.

"Well, well, well, what do we have here? A little boy with big dreams, but no quirk to back them up. Tragic, isn't it?"

Izuku spun around, his eyes wide with confusion and fear. Floating in front of him was a glowing, triangular figure with a single eye—Bill Cipher.

"W-who are you?" Izuku stammered, backing away slowly.

Bill chuckled. "Oh, I'm just your friendly neighborhood reality warper! But you can call me Bill. And you, little Deku, seem like you could use a helping hand." His voice dripped with amusement, but there was something deeper in his tone—something tempting.

Izuku sniffled, looking up at Bill, confused. "Why would you want to help me?"

Bill's eye gleamed. "Because, kid, I've been thinking about things. All this villain stuff? It's getting old. Chaos, destruction, yada yada—it's boring. But becoming a hero? Now *that* sounds interesting! How about this: I help you, and in return, you give me a chance to show that even someone like me can have a change of heart."

Izuku blinked, wiping his tears away. "Y-you want to be a hero?"

"Why not?" Bill shrugged, spinning lazily in the air. "Everyone loves a good redemption arc, right? So here's my offer: I'll give you something you want more than anything—a quirk. And not just any quirk, but the speed of Sonic the Hedgehog proportions! Faster than anyone you know. All I ask is that you help me show the world that I can be a good guy."

Izuku's heart raced. A quirk? Speed like Sonic the Hedgehog? It sounded too good to be true. But the thought of being able to chase his dreams again, to become a hero...

He hesitated. "But... you were a villain. Can I really trust you?"

Bill chuckled again, floating closer. "That's the fun part, isn't it? You *don't* know if you can trust me. But hey, heroes are all about believing in second chances, right? Besides, what's the worst that could happen?"

Izuku looked down at his small hands, then up at the figure of Bill Cipher, who was waiting patiently. He wanted to be a hero so badly—more than anything in the world. Could he really take this deal?

After a long silence, Izuku nodded slowly. "O-okay... I'll take the deal."

Bill's eye widened with delight. "Atta boy!" With a snap of his fingers, a surge of energy flowed through Izuku's body. His legs tingled, his heart pounded, and suddenly, everything felt... lighter.

"Congratulations, kid," Bill said, his voice echoing around them. "You now have the power to move faster than anyone in this world. Use it wisely. And remember—I'll be watching."

With a twist in the air, Bill Cipher vanished, leaving Izuku standing alone. But he wasn't the same as before. He could feel it. The speed, the power—it was his.

Izuku looked down at his feet, then took a deep breath. Hesitantly, he ran forward... and the world around him blurred. He shot forward faster than he'd ever thought possible, wind whipping past his face. He stopped abruptly, staring in awe at how far he'd gone in just a second.

A grin spread across his face. For the first time in what felt like forever, hope returned to his heart.

He could be a hero after all.
