As the quirk assessment test continued, Aizawa announced the next challenge: the ball throw. The objective was simple: throw the ball as far as possible using their quirks. The anticipation in the air was palpable as the students lined up, eager to show their skills.
"First up, Midoriya!" Aizawa called, gesturing for Izuku to step forward.
Izuku nodded, stepping up to the throwing line. He focused on the ball, channeling his super speed. He wound up his arm as fast as he could, feeling the energy build. "Here goes nothing!"
With a powerful throw, he unleashed the ball into the air, watching as it soared far beyond the distance he expected. It landed impressively far down the field, earning a chorus of cheers from his classmates.
"Nice throw!" Uraraka shouted, clapping.
"Next, Shadow!" Aizawa commanded.
Shadow stepped up, a confident smirk on his face. He took a deep breath, channeling his chaos energy. With a swift motion, he wound up and hurled the ball with a force that sent it flying even further than Izuku's throw. The ball glinted with energy as it soared through the air, creating a small shockwave upon release.
"Impressive!" Aizawa noted, though his tone remained neutral.
Finally, it was Bill's turn. He floated casually to the throwing line, a mischievous glint in his eye. "You guys are so conventional," he said, grinning. "Watch this!"
Instead of simply throwing the ball, Bill surrounded it with chaotic energy, creating a swirling vortex around it. "Let's see how far chaos can take us!" He released the ball with a flick of his wrist, and it was instantly propelled into the air, amplified by the chaotic energy swirling around it.
The ball soared beyond anything they had seen, creating a dazzling trail of colors as it flew through the sky. The students gasped in awe, watching as it landed far off, leaving a crater in the ground.
"Whoa!" Uraraka exclaimed, eyes wide. "That was amazing!"
Izuku stared, a mix of admiration and surprise on his face. "Bill, that was incredible! You really know how to make an impact!"
Shadow nodded, impressed. "Looks like chaos has its advantages."
As the results were tallied, it was clear that Deku, Shadow, and Bill had topped the charts. Aizawa regarded them with his usual stoicism but couldn't hide a hint of approval. "Good job. You three clearly have talent."
With their spirits high, the trio celebrated their victories, knowing they were one step closer to proving themselves as heroes. The competition was fierce, but with each challenge, their bonds strengthened, and they were determined to face whatever came next together.
