Challah French Toast

Indulge in our decadent Challah French Toast, a brunch favorite with a twist. Thick slices of rich, buttery challah bread are soaked in a spiced blend of cinnamon, nutmeg, honey, and vanilla, then griddled to golden perfection. Topped with a generous drizzle of our signature Jack Daniels Honey Maple Syrup, a sprinkle of powdered sugar, and a handful of fresh blueberries, this dish offers a sweet and satisfying start to your morning. Served with a pat of melting butter, it's the perfect balance of warmth, sweetness, and indulgence.

Ingredients:
- 4 slices of challah bread (thick cut)
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon honey (plus extra for drizzling)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- 2 tablespoons butter (for cooking)

For the Jack Daniels Honey Maple Syrup:
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons Jack Daniels Honey whiskey
- 1 tablespoon butter

Garnishes:
- 1 tablespoon butter (for serving)
- Powdered sugar
- Fresh blueberries

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Jack Daniels Honey Maple Syrup:
   - In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, combine the maple syrup, Jack Daniels Honey whiskey, and butter.
   - Stir until the butter is melted and the syrup is warmed through. Set aside and keep warm.

2. Prepare the Batter:
   - In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, honey, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until smooth and fully combined.

3. Soak the Bread:
   - Dip each slice of challah bread into the egg mixture, allowing the bread to soak for about 10-15 seconds on each side. Ensure the bread is well-coated but not overly saturated.

4. Cook the French Toast:
   - Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat and melt 1 tablespoon of butter.
   - Place the soaked challah slices in the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and slightly crisp around the edges. Cook in batches if needed, adding more butter to the pan as necessary.

5. Serve:
   - Plate the French toast and top each serving with a drizzle of the Jack Daniels Honey Maple Syrup.
   - Garnish with a pat of butter, a dusting of powdered sugar, and a handful of fresh blueberries.
