Valt once asked why the Bombers gym had other things aside from the battle stage.
And if Rantaro has to explain it thoroughly, they'll be here all day.
So he only responded with; "Training only is bound to make them bored, so we got some other entertainment."
And he's not lying.
The Bombers gym had bookshelves, a karaoke machine, a huge ass TV on the wall that could be controlled by a phone through Bluetooth, even a makeup station, among other items in the gym.
But there's a lot more depth than just those things being there for the sake of the kids' entertainment.
While it did at first start out like that; it was heavily raining one day, and none of the kids could go back home, otherwise they'd get sick. The area isn't necessarily an ideal place to use a car, so the parents of the kids themselves couldn't pick them up either. They could only wait out till the storm passes through.
The kids were extremely bored, bored with capitals. To top it all off, the Honcho found out that the older Asahi had a fear of thunder, so the bluenette was closing his ears as he curled himself up and was leaning onto the older blond male the whole time.
He heard from Hyuga that the family once almost got struck by lightning one time during a rainy season when they're returning home from a family member's house. Hikaru has been traumatized ever since because of it.
During a stormy season, Hikaru would be given headphones to block out the loud thundering sounds so he won't cry in agony throughout the storm.
Ironically, Hikaru liked the rain, but he absolutely hated thunder and lightning with every fiber of his being.
Rantaro also realized that these kids always came by to the gym after school on weekdays. Coincidentally, they're all in the same school; with Hikaru and Hyuga as transfer students due to the family's initial move.
Hikaru and Raika are in the same class in the 6th grade.
Hyuga and Chuck are also classmates in 5th grade.
Guy is a middle schooler; he had a different but still similar style uniform compared to the rest.
Not once will he come over to the gym to see the kids are hauled up in their textbooks and notebooks, especially when they have tests coming up.
He had the liberty of helping them with their homeworks too.
It was actually during some of their 'working on homeworks' sessions where the other legends would pop in in the middle of that said session. Dante even attempted to get out immediately after realizing he might've disrupted something and apologized, but Hyuga dragged him in regardless, so the younger blond sort of joined their sessions. It was the same pattern too with the others as well.
Although most just stuck around doing nothing and looking over everyone else, sometimes they also help out if the subject is something that they're more aware of.
"So the gym becomes a classroom whenever you have this tutoring session or something?" Sisco asked him one time, while looking at the kids still working on their homeworks.
"Eh, sorta like that." The blond just shrugged. "It's definitely better than worrying if they forgot to work on their homework during training."
He is right; it's much better than them not focusing at all and internally panicking while training. Valt and Rantaro kinda learned that the hard way.
"I understand the law of surviving in nature, not the law of whoever Newton is." Aiga said blankly one time when Guy asked him about Newton's Law, which all he could do is sweat drop from the response.
