The door opened, and 2 boys came into the house with a sluggish acceleration.
They looked like they just greeted father death and walked off.
"We're home..." The shorter bluenette said tiredly.
"God, I'm so beat..." A taller blond said, equally exhausted as the bluenette.
They dragged their aching legs towards the living room, and practically threw themselves onto the couch after tossing their bags to the side of the said couch. They exhaled deeply, as if they just returned from a war.
Valt Aoi, a known Blader worldwide, who is ranked first of the whole world, making him a part of the Big Five, and a member of the prestigious group in Spain, BC Sol.
Wakiya Murasaki, the WBBA commissioner, who's a founder of Sunbat United and former leader of said team.
They recently just returned from a meeting with the WBBA. Wakiya for obvious reasons, while Valt because he's a well-known Blader and actually one of the key staff of WBBA along with Wakiya.
Something happened that day that ended up making them work overtime; hence coming back a lot later than usual. And they usually came back pretty late.
They want nothing more than a good rest now.
"Tomorrow is a Friday." The blond said, looking at the calendar on his phone. "We still got one more day left before the weekend."
"God, when is peace..." The bluenette said as if he was on the verge of crying (he's not though).
The dark circles under their eyes could clearly be seen, indicating that they haven't slept much.
A day off sounds very nice right about now.
"I didn't think the issue would be this big. I thought for sure the other staff could-" The WBBA commissioner was about to start a rant, but stopped himself after he felt something landing on his shoulder.
He turned to his left, to see his friend had fallen asleep on his shoulder, purely out of exhaustion.
He blinked a few times, contemplating on what to do.
"A nap would be good now. Maybe a few minutes will do." The taller blond said, before eventually dozing off himself, landing his head on top of his shorter friend.
Someone was walking to the living room, possibly just from the kitchen. He went to the living room to greet the now-sleeping males on the couch.
"Welcome back! Sorry it took me a while to-" Hikaru stopped himself from talking more, as he saw his senpais completely passed out on the couch.
'They seem to be really tired, huh? I guess I can wake them up later.' The younger bluenette said in his thoughts.
He was about to tell them that dinner was ready for them, but he decided to wake them up a little later. They seem to want nothing more than a good sleep as of now.
After Hikaru returned to the kitchen, 4 more boys came into the living room from another room.
"I'm totally gonna beat you next time, Shu! Mark my words!" A certain big blond male that had a lollipop in his mouth exclaimed. He sounded pretty irritated towards another boy with white hair and crimson eyes. The white haired boy just smiled and chuckled.
"It's probably gonna take a while for you to beat him, Honcho." A blue sharp-teeth puppet said to the blond, as a way for the ventriloquist to talk.
"Hey! Ragnarok was really close to getting Spriggan at the time! Give me some credit, man!" Rantaro exclaimed once more.
"Shh. Guys, quiet down. Valt and Wakiya are sleeping there." The shorter male with occult vibes all over him said in a whispering tone, pointing towards the boys who had been sleeping on the couch.
The rest realized what their friend was pointing at, immediately became silent, as they walked over to the couch to check on the 2 boys.
"They look really exhausted." Besu said, looking at them.
"Must be a tough day for them today." Shu remarked, looking at their tired faces. Rantaro walked off to go somewhere, and came back with a big blanket.
He and Daigo put the blanket on the two sleeping boys, so they could feel warm and comfortable.
"Sleep tight, you two." Daigo said, patting on the blanket lightly.
The 4 boys walked away towards the kitchen, where Hikaru is still at. He happened to still have some jars of cookies they could munch on.
They deserve some rest.
