I love Scara and Nahida's relationship, you have no idea. The mother/son dynamic from those two are strong.
So I thought; “make a character to be Valt's (new) student to create that same relationship dynamic”.
And so I did.
The Scara to Valt's Nahida.
~~~
The new student that Valt had taken under his wing this time around is quite… Unique, for lack of better terms.
A troubled child, basically.
Hit with unfortunate circumstances, Ezra Ortiz responds to anyone with aggression. It was quite the mystery on how he agreed to be Valt's student in the first place.
Many wonder why Valt is so keen on keeping him, despite the several times the student of his had disobeyed the rules.
Well, none can really say much when it comes to the Wonder Boy himself.
“Okay- be honest with me, man. But why do you really want to keep him around? I lost count on how many rules he had broken already.” Honcho said. “Don't get me wrong, I think he really needs some help, but are you sure you're fit for this kind of work?” A tinge of worry can be heard in his voice.
The said bluenette only responded with a smile. “Just have faith in him. Like you said, he is in need of some help, so let's do our best, okay?” The blond sighed in defeat.
Well, if it had come to this, then there's no point in convincing him further.
“Don't worry, I have a few plans in mind that I think will work.” He said cryptically. The blond seemed intrigued, but decided to not pursue a question.
Ezra isn't an easy child to deal with, and many had known that the moment he stepped into the grounds of BC Sol.
But Valt didn't give up on him no matter what many, or Ezra said.
“It'd be better if you just lock me up somewhere or something. Why do you still want to keep me here and roam around?” The boy asked one day.
He wasn't being given a response, at least not verbally. He only received a smile from the shorter yet older male.
Like many others, Ezra indeed had a passion for Beyblade. Hell, he even has his own Bey; Motion Eros.
However, unlike many others, his training program organized by Valt himself is different.
Along with the usual training with Beyblade, Ezra was subjected to some a little more stricter teachings, or at least that's what the boy believed.
He was given books, and was told to do some lessons and assignments that he needed to do according to Valt. These lessons are always given to him with a deadline.
“Be sure to submit this next week! I'll be collecting it right on the day, so don't be late in submitting them. Make sure to keep up with training too, okay?” Valt would say every time he gave his student his assignment.
“Yes, Master.” The boy would respond in a not so enthusiastic way.
Although he greets such assignments with dread, it's not like he can ditch them, especially when his teacher (along with the other mentors) are watching him, especially when that teacher in question is in charge of his entire program and assess him personally, so there's nothing he can do other than doing what he was told.
“This is definitely something more on the rarer spectrum of your teachings. You don't usually do this towards your students both old and new. Why is he so different?” The green headed male asked the Wonder Boy one day. Genuine curiosity etched into his voice instead of the usual teasing mockery.
