When Ardian first arrived at the mansion .....

As I drove to our home, I could not take my eyes off la mia piccola farfalla. I still cannot believe he is here. With me. Going to our home. I wanted so bad to look into his eyes. To properly see his face. Talk to him about the life I missed. The life I was deprived from seeing. But he would not look up. His gaze was fixed to the floor, hands wringing in his lap, his shoulders hunched, almost like he was trying to curl into himself. I wanted so bad to reach out and comfort him but I held back. I already scared him with my stupid cold tone, I did not need to make it worse by touching him when I knew he did not like physical touch.

When I finally pulled up infront of our home, I practically jumped out of the driver's seat and sprinted to open his door. He hesitantly stepped out, slinging that ratty backpack over his shoulder. I would have to buy him a new one tomorrow. The thing looked like it was going to fall apart at any minute. La mia piccola farfalla deserved better. He deserved everything and more and I was going to give it to him. I left him by the car when I saw Shane approaching. Shane was my head of security and a buff as hell man. His physique resembled that of a NFL linebacker, just ten times scarier. The man was a grouch to most, but to the people he trusted, he was a gigantic teddy bear. I quickly walked over to Shane before he could reach us as I had a feeling that if la mia piccola farfalla saw him, he would be terrified.

"Inform all security personnel that Ardian has returned. I want extra people guarding the house. Also, interview candidates for a personal security detail for him." I instructed Shane in a commanding but cold tone that I used on all the people who worked for me.

"Consider it done boss. Also, I am glad the youngest prince is finally back." Shane replied cheerily with a smile. Everyone loved la mia piccola farfalla before he was taken. Over the years that love and longing just grew and festered. I had no doubt that all my staff will be extremely happy that he is back. A small smile graced my face at his comment but quickly fell as I turned back to my youngest.

He was rooted in the same spot with his head hung low. I thought that he would be curious about his new home but I was wrong. His gaze was transfixed to the gravel. Not moving in the slightest, even as I lead him inside. I called for the other boys get their asses down here. Hopefully they might be able to get la mia piccola farfalla out of his shell. When they all stampeded down the stairs they immediately froze in front of us with shellshocked expressions. SHIT! I forgot to tell them! I was so hell bent on getting la mia piccola farfalla back that I forgot to tell them.

"Living room. Now." Alvaro, my eldest practically growled out as he and the others stormed to the living room. I sighed, already knowing where this was going. I  told Sebastian to carry la mia piccola farfalla to his room while I faced the music. I was expecting shouting. Questions flying in every direction to verify if this really was la mia piccola farfalla. But for the hundredth time today I was proven wrong. When I entered, all I saw were tears. Even the most stone faced of my sons were balling their eyes out. I did not know who to comfort first or how, as I did not know the cause.
