I still at what she said. No, she did not. Did it really come out of her mouth? I search her eyes, they're full of tears, but there's no hesitance.
I cup her face as I whisper, "tell me my ears are deceiving me, dove. Tell me I misheard."
She shakes her head, "you did not. I love you; I always did. Since that damned day and before it. I did. I'm so sorry I told you –
I silence her with a fiery kiss, she said it. I rest my forehead against hers. "Again." I breathe.
"I love you, Omer."
I let out a loud laugh that rang through the quiet room and she smiled. I keep laughing as I stand abruptly with her in my arms.
"Again, dove. Again."
She giggles, "I LOVE YOU SO MUCH, OMER! – AH!" she squeals in my arms as I laugh spinning us around the room, she clutches my shoulders as she laughs joining me.
I fall back onto the bed as we land together with a thud with her above me again. I couldn't feel my body, I feel I'm floating forgetting that we're half naked forgetting the goddamn boner forgetting my whole life. Because I just heard the most beautiful words in my whole life come out of the mouth of the most beautiful woman I've ever seen.
I keep looking at her letting down my whole guard. No walls again. No masking features. No controlling of feelings. I let her see my smile, my happiest smile. I feel wetness on my cheek, but I ignore it.
She wipes at my face as she too smiles her real smile showing me her right dimple that mirrors my left one. Tears stream down her face too, but we're both a laughing and giggling mess.
"Omer, stop please. I feel guilty." I sit up suddenly startling her, I close the gap between us as I murmur against her mouth, "Fucking again."
Her whole face softens as she laces her fingers into my hair kissing my forehead, "I love you. I love your heart. I love your soul. I love every bit of you, flaws and all. Although you are flawless to me."
She leans in to kiss my right eye, "I love everything you do." She goes to the other eye, "I love everything you say." Then my nose, "I love everything between us." She moves lastly to my lips placing a small peck, "I love you and I want a future with you, Omer. I am sure now; I want to face the world with you. I want to be your wings that will lead you home." I close my eyes letting tears fall as she places my palm above her heart.
I lean in kissing the warm spot above her heart lingering there inhaling her scent and feeling her heartbeat. "I love the air you breathe, dove."
"I'm sorry I was late." She murmurs tears sliding down her face and neck.
"You're on the right time. You came just on time, my love. "
