TW: CHILD BIRTH, BLOOD
AUTUMN
In just a few more days, it's been happening, and I have a feeling something is going to happen today. So, I am checking everything to be safe.
TIME SKIP
AUTUMN
I wake in the middle of the night; then it happens. I just know that it is the moment we've waited for so long; my water broke. In a panic, I wake Winter up, we get dressed, and get in the car to the hospital. While we are going to the hospital, I keep screaming out of pain. Winter looks at me with frustration that he can't help me. "It's going to be alright, my love," he says as he takes my hand, and I squeeze it as hard as possible.
We arrive at the hospital, we go to the delivery room, while I am getting changed, Winter is calling Marjorie and Charlotte so they can come and be there. Once Winter comes back into the room, the doctors start attaching the monitors and everything. Then, everyone arrived; we chat before they came to start my epidural.
TIME SKIP
It's been a few hours, and now it's time to push. Then, when I am ready, I grab hold of Winter's hand again. Winter never left my side the whole time; he's been my rock for the past few hours. I'm so thankful to have him. Then the doctor tells me to push. After half an hour, our sweet baby girl is born, but there are no cries. The nurse takes her as I cry for her, scared that she's not going to make it, as Winter's trying to calm me down. I black out.
WINTER
I'm so scared for our baby girl; she's so small, and my poor wife, she's in tears. I hope our sweet girl is okay. As I say that, I feel my wife go limp in my arms and see a massive red spot on the sheets. I shout for a doctor. I can't lose both my girls.
