The screech of tires was heard outside.

Elena looked up from her homework and towards the door. She could faintly hear the sound of raised voices. She and Charlie had been hanging out. By hanging out they were just enjoying each other's company. Charlie had been watching tv on the couch while Elena worked on her homework as she sat on the floor.

"What is that?" Elena asked.

Charlie had stood up and made his way over to the front door where he saw Jacob and Edward in each other's faces and Bella pushing herself between them. Charlie opened the door and Elena followed him closely not wanting to miss what was going on.

"Hey, hey, hey, hey. Easy guys. Easy." Charlie placed himself between the two men. "Let's take it down a notch. All right?"

"Bella are you okay?" Elena immediately went to her sister's side.

"Yeah. I'm fine." Bella was worried more about the two men in front of her killing each other.

"What's going on?" Charlie waited for an answer but Edward was just glaring at Jacob who tried to look anywhere but at the man he knew his entire life.

"I kissed Bella." Jacob finally broke the awkward silence.

"You did what?!" Elena shook her head as if she hadn't heard him correctly.

Jacob glanced at her before ignoring her. "And she broke her hand. Punching my face." Charlie and Elena looked to him like what the hell. Maybe she would have lost that bet with Paul after all. "Total misunderstanding."

Elena laughed. "Yes I'm sure it was Jacob." Bella glared at her sister letting her know she wasn't helping the situation at all.

Charlie stood speechless. What was he supposed to say at this time? He couldn't exactly get mad at anyone.

"Ill take her to Carlisle." Edward had suggested to Charlie. He just nodded. Elena followed him and helped Bella into the car.

"El. You too?" Her father called out.

"I'll be back dad. I always am." She gave him a sad smile before the trio drove to the Cullen household.

"It's just a sprain." Carlisle had examined Bella's hand and wrist before wrapping it up. "It should heal fairly quickly." Edward stood directly behind Bella and Elena was annoyed. It seemed to her that Edward couldn't trust anything to happen to Bella but he had to have known that she was the clumsiest sister and the most reckless.

"Trying to walk and chew gum at the same time again Bella?" Emmett had strolled up with Jasper who immediately greeted Elena.

"Hello." He smiled as he kissed her forehead.

"Hey." She hugged him before turning her attention back to her sister and Emmett's conversation.

"I punched a werewolf in the face." Bella smirked saying what had happened as if it was a joke.

"Badass." Emmett congratulated her, "You're gonna be one tough little newborn."

"Tough enough to take you on." Bella challenged. She was happy that someone was excited for her to change.

Rosalie stood up from her seat on the couch and threw the newspaper she was reading down while staring over at Bella. You didn't need Edward or Jasper's powers to know exactly how Rosalie was feeling in the moment. It was written all over her face.

"Don't worry about it." Emmett commented. If anyone knew how theatrical Rosalie was, it was probably Emmett.

"Any leads?" Edward tried to change the subject back to the newborn army. They had been trying to work it nonstop and figure out who was creating them and why. Elena squeezed Jasper's arm to let him know she was going to follow Rose. Jasper wasn't that happy about her leaving his side but he knew that she and Rosalie are close. Jasper had been even more protective of his mate as they found out that there was a big threat nearby.
