"Does he not own any shirts?"

Jasper and Elena were riding in the backseat of Edward's Volvo. Edward and Bella had exited the vehicle as soon as they were parked. The past few days consisted of the girls spending time with both the vampires and the wolves. Elena stayed with Jasper majority of the time though. He meant what he said about never leaving her side. But the Cullens haven't fed in a few weeks so this was their chance to do so and charge up their strength.

"Yes he does Jasper. He's just making a statement." Elena rolled her eyes knowing the wolf boy's intention.

"And that is?" Jasper had leaned closer to Elena and inhaled. The smell of her intoxicated him. Her blood called to him but he was learning his strength by the day.

"That he's the hotter option." Elena snorted with laughter.

Jasper scrunched up his nose. "More like the smellier option." Elena quickly tried to cover up her laugh as she knew Jacob could probably hear them.

"Come on." Elena opened the door and walked towards the trio. Edward had started kissing Bella to show his claim on her and Elena rolled her eyes. Was Edward that jealous with Jacob he had to show him who she belongs to?

"Hey." Jasper pulled Elena back not breaking eye contact with Jacob who glared at his hand on her arm. "Just be careful okay." He finally looked down to her with a tortured look in his eyes. Jasper wouldn't be able to live with himself if Elena had gotten hurt at the hands of a wolf. Especially since he wouldn't be able to do anything to them without breaking the treaty.

"They're not going to hurt me Jas. I promise." Elena stood up on her toes and kissed his cheek. "You don't have to worry." Jasper leaned down and placed his hand under her chin and tilted it up so she could look at him. He leaned down and met her lips. It wasn't a long kiss showing claim like Edward's, but it wasn't just a peck either. To Elena it was the perfect amount of time for the two to show each other how much they love each other. "I'll see you later." She held his hand for a second before heading over to her sister and Jacob who were waiting on her.

Jacob had an annoyed look on his face but he quickly hugged Elena, rubbing his scent on her to piss off the blonde vampire. Jasper had let out a growl when he realized what the boy was doing but quickly stopped when he realized Elena wants to spend time with her friends before having to leave them forever.

"So what do you two feel like doing today? Bike, hike, just hang? Your call." Elena had reached for the back passenger door as Jacob spoke to them. "But we're going to a party tonight." He demanded before getting into his car.

Bella and Elena looked to each other. This man really wants to go to a party while someone is out to get them? Wonderful.

The night came quicker than expected. The trio had hung out all day with Embry who happened to join a few hours after he got off of patrol. Elena was excited, her very best friends were together and they were successfully keeping her mind off of the danger before them.

"Are you sure this is okay?" Bella and Jacob were walking side by side with Embry and Elena right behind them. "I really hate being a party crasher." Bella hated being the center of attention is what she meant. Elena knew this.

"Don't worry Bell, I'll just get super drunk and take the attention away from you." Elena joked to her sister who playfully glared at her.

"Technically the two of you are council meeting crashers." The four had gotten closer to another group of people who were surrounding a campfire. Elena could see some more of the wolves along with Billy Black and a few more adults. "See, Dad, Quil's grandpa, and Sue Clearwater."
