The one where: The Accident

Y/n's POV:

I was working when I received a text from Gracie asking me if I wanted me to go to the movies. I said yes. I was just finishing up stocking for the night. I walked in the staff room and placed my mop in the bucket. I took off my vest and nametag and put it in my locker. I grabbed my phone out of my pocket and texted Gracie.

Me

Hey Baby, I'm just finishing work. Driving home now I love you!

Bow Girl🎀

I'll be waiting. Drive safely I love you too!

See you in 15 mins babygirl!

Gracie's POV:

I Was waiting for y/n to get home from work for the movie. I was sitting on the couch scrolling through Instagram. I got a notification through TMZ. I thought the article was nothing at first. But I read through it and I was terrified.

                                                                         TMZ:

                                         – Y/N L/N DRIVING ON 34TH STREET WHEN

                                A CAR COLLIDED WITH HER'S. CONDITIONS UNKNOWN. –

I immediately switched tabs to my messages. I texted her but no response I rushed to grabbed my coat and keys and drove to the street they said she was on. I got out of my car and saw that her car was flipped upside down by flames in the front. I gasped.  I ran to the Emt person.

Gracie-"EXCUSE ME! My gi- girlfriend Y/n? WHERE IS SHE?!"

?-Sorry ma'am, She was rushed into surgery. She's in the hospital right now."

Gracie-"WHAT HOSPITAL"

?-"Shawn Memorial!"

I nodded and ran to my car and went in and slammed the door. I Drove away to the hospital and signed in.  I sat in the waiting room. Hours or what felt like it dragged by till they called my name.

?-"GRACIE?!"

I stood up and walked over to him.

Gracie-"I- is she ok?"

?-I'm sorry."

I was shocked she couldn't be gone. I can't lose her. I stumbled back.

Nurse-"You can go and say goodbye. She in the other room to the left"

I nodded and walked by and saw her dead body on the bed. She didn't look pale though she still looked beautiful. I walked over my vision blurry with tears. I held her hand and brushed hair out of her face.

Gracie-"Babygirl, I'm so sorry I couldn't save you. I love you so much. I'm sorry I couldn't marry you like we wanted, I so badly wanted to have kids with you, I wanted to celebrate our anniversary together not with you up in the sky. I hate that I have to talk with a stone head instead of your pretty face now. I wish we could've seen the movie tonight baby, you were so excited and that drunk douchebag took you away from me."

I took a deep shaky breath and kissed her forehead.  I was about to get the doctor in here but I heard a beep.

Gracie-"The Fuck?"

I looked up and saw the line spike a little. I gasped and checked her pulse. She's alive. But, How?! Ran out thinking I'm going insane but then I see the doctor's rush in.

Nurse-"Check the monitors and her heart rate!"

2 nodded and they checked her heart rate.

Nurse-"SHE'S ALIVE!"

Gracie-"WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON?"

Nurse-"Y/n is alive ma'am. She's gonna need time but she'll wake up ok?"

I nodded and they left me alone. I sat back down and took her hand in mine.

–1 HOUR LATER–

Y/n's POV:

My eyes were glued shut and I was in severe pain throughout my body. I felt something cold in my hand. I realized it was Gracie's hand. I smiled slightly knowing she was here. It was comforting. I squeezed it and opened my eyes. I saw Gracie's head down on my arm she was asleep.  I shook her slightly.

Y/n-"Baby?"

Nothing

Y/n-"Gracie? Babygirl"

Gracie-"Y/n?! Your awake and ALIVE"

I gave a confused look but smiled.

Y/n-"Of course I'm alive why wouldn't I be. Where Am I?"

Gracie-"You got into a car accident and you were dead for 4 minutes, but somehow you revived and lived. The doctor said it was a mystery, they've never seen it."

Y/n-"I- I died?!"

She nodded. I broke down in tears. This was so much to take in all at once. I felt her arms wrapped around me.

Gracie-"Shhh, It's okay baby girl. You're okay. I've got you."

Y/n-"C- can we cuddle please?"

Gracie-"Of course sweetie. C'mere"

I scooted near her and she climbed on the bed and we cuddled. I Fell asleep in her arms that night. I love this girl so much, I can't wait to marry her. Soon.\
