Today was the day I was meeting my Girlfriend's Gracie's Parents. I'm super nervous because she grew up in a strict household, but Gracie has told me countless times They will like me. I'm just scared that I'm gonna have to break up with her. I was in my room getting ready when I got a call from Gracie.

Hey babe, You almost ready?

Y/n:

Yea, I'm scared though.

Gracie:

Why are you scared Y/n?

Y/n:

Because, It's your parent's their strict

Gracie:

They will adore you y/n

Y/n:
Fine, I'll see you in 5 minutes, If I'm not having a panic attack

Gracie:

Don't joke about that babygirl. It's gonna be fine.

Gracie's POV:

I was pulling up to Y/n's house When I saw her pacing through the window of her living room.

Shit, she's panicking I thought to myself. I ran out of my car and opened her front door. I ran to her side and put my hand on her shoulder.

Gracie-"Baby, It's gonna be fine. Breathe with me. Ok?"

After a few breathing exercises she calmed down, I took her hand and led her to my car. She got in and then I got into the driver's seat. We drove for 30 minutes with light music and conversations every now and then the whole drive. I got out and held her hand as we walked up to the door. I opened it And we stepped inside.

Gracie-"MOM. DAD. I HAVE SOMEONE SPECIAL TO ME FOR YOU TOO MEET!"

Katie-"I'M COMING SWEETIE!"

JJ-"Gracie! How are you honey?"

Gracie-"I'm amazing. This is Y/n, my girlfriend"

Katie-"It's so nice to meet you Y/n"

JJ-"Because, She's gonna slow you down. When you go on tour, she's gonna be home calling you 24/7 when you should be focusing on music. Gracie, I think it's best-"

Gracie-"No, I'm not breaking up with her Dad, Fuck. I finally found someone I truly love and you wanna throw that away from me."

JJ-"I just think, It'll slow you down honey. You'll regret it, trust me."

Gracie-"SHE'S NOT AN IT. SHe's a HUMAN! I LOVE HER DAD. YOU CAN'T CHANGE THAT. THIS IS FUCKING ROMEO JULET."

Gracie-"FUCK YOU DAD. I'LL MARRY HER. SHE'LL BE PART OF THE FAMILY. YOU TREAT HER LIKE SHIT, YOU TREAT ME LIKE SHIT."

JJ-"I love you Gracie, I'm not gonna treat you like shit, I'm not treating her like shit. I Just don't think she's a fit for you"

I Stormed out of the house and drove back to my house. I slumped on my bed. How could I just dump The love of my life. How could my own father not like my own Girlfriend? PLEASE GOD WAKE ME UP FROM THIS DAMN NIGHTMARE.
