The one where: You save her from getting hit by a bullet

Gracie's POV:

It was early morning and I was making breakfast while Y/n took a shower. Today was Saturday and we were gonna go shopping at the mall for a few stuff and maybe treat ourself with new clothes. I didn't workout yesterday, so I was gonna go after the mall. I was just finishing the pancakes when I saw Y/n come down in cargo pants and a Noah Kahan tshirt.

Y/n-" smells so good babe"

Gracie-"Just about ready. Take a seat"

She walked over to the dining table and pulled out a chair and sat it.

Gracie-" so at the mall what are you looking for?" 

Y/n-"umm just some cute tops and jeans, and then these coke a cola sweatpants.  What about you Gray?"

Gracie-"Just some new clothes I'm running dry in my closet. "

We were walking down the halls of the malls trying stuff on and running into different stores. We've been shopping for an hour now and I was getting bored. I had everything I wanted already and payed for.

Gracie-"Can we go get tacos im hungry babe"

Y/n-"of course let's go get lunch"

We left the mall with 4 bags filled with clothes. All of the sudden a man from the other side a street starts yelling,  we both look over seeing that he has a pistol.  

Y/n-"G- Gracie? Whats happening?"

Gracie-"I- I don't know baby, let's walk the other wa-"

Just then as I was just about to turn the fires at me. But when I thought I was gonna get shot Y/n walks in front of me and take the bulett for me.

She suddenly falls but I catch her waist and me hand, on her head. Making sure she doesn't hit it.

Gracie-" why the fuck did you stand in front of me?!"

Y/n-"B- because. I love you. I'd die for you"

Gracie-"Hey keep awake. I'll call someone. "

Her eyes were heavy. The blood trickling down her legs and stomach.  I fumbled for my phone and called the ambulance.  I pressed my hands on the wound pushing on it to stop the bleeding.

Gracie-" If you die y/n I'll be so mad"

Y/n-"I- it's just so- sore baby"

Her eyes closed and I panicked reaching for her pulse but she opened them before I could.

Gracie-" Don't do that baby. Ik your tired but your gonna be fine"

We were sitting in the ambulance yn had an oxygen mask on and she opened her eyes again. 

Y/n-"Wh- what happen?"

Gracie-"you saved me, that's what happen"

Y/n-" huh?"

Gracie-"You took a bullet for me babygirl. "

Y/n-" I'm gonna die gray. I love you."

Gracie-"no you're not gonna die baby. Just hang in there. 2 mins till we're there"

The surgery was a success and she was wheeled in her hospital room. I walked in and she was awake.

Y/n-" who are you?"

I was shocked and scared. She didn't hit her head I made sure of it.

Gracie-" it's Gracie. Can you see me?"

Y/n-" I just see black"

Gracie-"that's normal they said. You shouldn't be able to see the first few minutes post-op"

Y/n-"baby you still there?"

Gracie-"yeah I'm here sweetie"

A couple minutes later went by till she started looking around the room. Regaining her sight again.

Y/n-"I can see again. Phew"

Gracie-" let's talk about this"

Y/n-"about what?"

Gracie-" 1: Why on EARTH would you stand in front of me when I'm the one getting shot?"

Y/n-"because I have no life without you in it. You have a life without me. You have music and your career. I have nothing. So it's better I die and not you"

Gracie-" baby, you have a life. With or without me. I love you and I'm greatful you saved me but, Don't do it again if it happens"

Y/n-"no promises angel. I'm tired Imm gonna sleep"

I nodded and layed next to her and played with her hair and she dozed off.
