The One With To the Sailor Song

Gracie's POV

It was the day of our 4 year anniversary, I went out and got a necklace for Y/n, It was an anchor she loved boats and the sea.  I was looking in the store and I walked up to the front desk.

Cashier-"Are you here to return something?"

She asked. I shook my head.

Gracie-"no, I'm here to pick up an anchor necklace? I ordered it a week ago it said it was here?"

Cashier-"ah yes! Gracie?"

She held up the recipe

Gracie-"yup that's me! Thank you so much ma'am!"

She nodded and hands it to me. I put it in the bag and tied the strings so it wouldn't fall. I walked out and drove home. I walked in the house we shared and I heard a guitar being played. Curiosity got the best of me, and I walked upstairs that's when I heard Y/n's voice.

Y/n-"I saw her in the rightest way, looking like Anne Hathaway. Laughing while she hit her pen and coughed, coughed.  And then she came up to my knees begging "baby would you please, do the things you said you'd do to me".

I smiled. God I loved when she sang.
Then the bridge happened.

Y/n-"Oh won't you kiss me on the mouth, And love me like a sailor and when you get a taste could you tell me whats my flavor. I don't believe god but I believe that you're my savior. My mom says she worried but I'm covered in this favor."

I knocked on the side of the door. She jumped a little  before turning around. 

Y/n-"h- how long have you been there Gray?"

Gracie-"just up until you finished the bridge. I wanna hear the rest baby! You sounded amazing. Better than me honestly."

She shook her head and giggled.  I walked up behind her.

Gracie-"close your eyes for me babygirl"

I whispered as I kissed her shoulder softly. She nodded and closed her eyes. I moved her hair to other side of her neck and put the necklace on her.  She brought her hand up to feel what I put on her. 

Gracie-"open"

She opened her eyes and looked down at the necklace.  She had tears in her eyes blurring her vision. I wiped them with the my thumb from behind.

Gracie-"don't cry Y/n."

Y/n-"these are happy tears don't worry baby, this is the best gift ever Gracie Angel. I've never been with someone for an anniversary let alone married to one. This means more than you know to me. I have your gift too"

Gracie-"I love you so much. More than anything babygirl."

Y/n-"QUIT MAKKNG ME FEEL THINGS. I love you more angel." 

I joked.
Gracie-"it's my job to make you feel things. Feel loved most of all. Now what'd you get me?"

She put the guitar back on her lap and finished the song.

Y/n"and when we're getting dirty I forget all that is wrong, I sleep so I can see cause I hate to wait so long, I sleep so I can see you cause I hate to wait so long. She took her fingers to her mouth, the kind that makes proud. "

Y/n-"and we can laugh off things we know nothing about. We can go forever Till you wanna sit it out"

She finished the song and I heard tears in my eyes. I hugged her and kissed her cheek.  I grabbed her hand and went to the bed to cuddle. She had her head on my chest, and her legs tangled with mine.

Gracie-"that song was perfect baby. I loved it and I love you."

I said as I kissed her neck. I was running my fingertips across the nape of her neck calmly not seductively. She sighed lightly at my touch which made me melt more.

Y/n-I love you more. Happy 4 years wife"

Gracie-"happy 4 years wife. I hope to love you till we're food for worms to eat. "
