Kelsie's POV:

July 2nd started like any other day on the road. Rhea and I woke up early, the hotel room still dark as we slipped into our workout gear. The gym was quiet, just the hum of the treadmill and the clink of weights. We pushed each other, knowing that we had a month to prepare for Summerslam on August 3rd. After a quick shower, we packed up and headed back to Miami.  The drive was filled with talk of strategies and what we needed to improve. I couldn't shake the feeling that something big was coming, but I pushed it aside, focusing on the training ahead.

As we arrived at the PC in Orlando, the familiar sights and sounds brought a sense of comfort. Our fellow wrestlers greeted us, and the day quickly fell into a rhythm of drills, sparring, and planning. I was in the middle of a particularly intense session when my phone buzzed with a message from Matt. "Hey, I'll be in Florida soon with u know," it read.  Matt and Damian had just landed in Orlando, so this message was meant for me. I smirked, shaking my head.   "You good boo?" Rhea asked making me out of my thoughts. I'm not going to lie because Damian doesn't know where I am living so I am a bit nervous and I don't even know if Matt has something planned.

"Yeah, I'm good it's just uh Matt texted me. Saying he just landed with Damian and you know how he doesn't know where I live and you also know that he was the reason why I moved away from Orlando". Rhea looks at me and gets up to hug me "I know boo, that this is gonna be hard but you and him are good now, yeah?" she says as she hugged me and I nodded.  "Well invite him over for a little housewarming party, yeah?" she says as she gets a towel out of her bag to wipe the sweat off her.  "I guess you're right," I say to her as I grab my bag as well to get a towel to wipe the sweat of me. And of course guess who walked right in just now... Kayden Carter. I had no problems with her before don't get me wrong but once you had slept with my man, that's when we got problems. Rhea could feel me seething in anger so she grabbed my arm and our bags, we headed out. Of course she walked right into me as we walked out "OOF I'm so sorry are you okay??" Kayden says as I just stare her down since she managed to fall on her ass when we bumped into each other. Before I could say something Rhea grabbed me and pushed me into the car and went back to her, she had helped her up.

Rhea's POV:

The gym was buzzing with the usual energy, but I could sense Kelsie's tension from a mile away. We had just finished an intense training session, and as we were packing up, I noticed her phone buzz. She glanced at it and her expression shifted. "You good, boo?" I asked, pulling her out of her thoughts. She hesitated for a moment before replying, "Yeah, I'm good. It's just... Matt texted me. He and Damian just landed, and you know how he doesn't know where I live now. Plus, he was the reason I moved away from Orlando."

I could see the worry in her eyes. I got up and hugged her tightly. "I know, boo. This is gonna be hard, but you and him are good now, yeah?". She nodded, and I could feel her relax a bit. "Well, invite him over for a little housewarming party, yeah?" I suggested, trying to lighten the mood. "I guess you're right," she said, grabbing her bag to get a towel. Just then, Kayden Carter walked in. I felt Kelsie tense up beside me. I knew their history, and I could practically feel the anger radiating off her. Before things could escalate, I grabbed her arm and our bags, steering us towards the exit.

Of course, Kayden managed to bump into us on the way out. "OOF, I'm so sorry! Are you okay?" she said, looking up at Kelsie from the floor. Kelsie just stared her down, and I knew I had to step in. I quickly pushed Kelsie into the car and went back to help Kayden up. "Sorry about that," I said, trying to diffuse the situation. Kayden looked a bit flustered but nodded. "It's okay, really. I didn't mean to cause any trouble." I gave her a reassuring smile. "No worries. Just a bit of a rough day. Take care, alright?" Kayden nodded and said "really I didn't mean no harm. I'm sorry for being with Damian that one night". That got me to stop me from going to the car. I thought about what to say and looked right at her "it happens I guess in the heat of the moment, right" I said and she nodded and said "can I uh talk to her? please?".

I shook my head no because I know how angry Kelsie got when she saw her. Kayden walked up to me and passed me a piece of paper and it had her number and she said "well whenever she cools down have her text me, ok? I miss her as my friend". Yes readers, they were friends as one point. They just part ways once Kayden got to the main roster and Kelsie went out of the wrestling business because of how the fans were treating her. I nodded and took the paper and walked back to the car. As I got into the car, I glanced at Kelsie. "You okay?" I asked, knowing full well she wasn't. She sighed, "Yeah, just... let's get out of here". I nodded and started the car, hoping the drive would help her cool down.

   Damian's POV:

Back in Orlando, I was ready to unwind after the flight. Matt and I had just landed, and I was looking forward to a quiet evening. That was until my phone buzzed with a message from Matt. "Hey, I'll be in Florida soon," it read. Confused, I looked over at him. "What the hell, Matt? We're already here." He looked sheepish, realizing his mistake. "Sorry, man. That was meant for Kelsie."

I shook my head, laughing. "You need to get your act together." although I was wondering in my head who could that be to??? As we settled in, my thoughts drifted to last night. Kelsie and I had a long talk, and it felt like a turning point. I wondered if Kelsie knew I was in Florida. The thought of seeing her again stirred something inside me. I needed to find out what Matt was up to and why he was being so secretive.

Later that evening, I cornered Matt in the gym. "Alright, spill it. What's going on with you and Dominik? and who the hell was that text meant for?". Matt sighed, running a hand through his hair. "It was a mistake, okay? We were both drunk, and one thing led to another. I didn't mean to send it dude."

I stared at him, trying to process what he was saying. "You literally slept with Dominik? What the fuck dude? I've heard screams and moaning but I thought it was just for play to mess with me because sometimes you do that. Yeah okay give me your phone then."

He nodded, looking miserable and giving me his phone. "Yeah it was for real actually, and now I don't know what to do. I didn't mean for it to happen, and I don't want it to mess things up with the wives both of us have."

I took a deep breath and went into his phone and that's when I saw her name and her location since they have each others location, I looked up at him and sighed I really was trying to keep my cool. I started to say "She is in Florida???? Why didn't you tell me???? and look, Matt about your huge mistake, truth is we all make mistakes. But you need to figure out what you want and be honest with your wife and even Dominik. This isn't something you can just sweep under the rug. It's not right for both of them to be honest. I can tell you liked it too much because uh your hickeys are showing." I said pointing to his neck.

Matt nodded, looking shocked and relieved at the same time. "Thanks, Damian. I needed to hear that. I'm sorry I didn't tell you now because she didn't want anyone to know at all. Wait for real? he got me? ugh that bastard.." he says taking his phone out of my hands to go on his phone camera to see the giant hickeys.

As I walked away to go to back to my house to shower, I couldn't help but think about Kelsie. She's in Florida and why didn't she tell me when I was with her yesterday? I know we just started to talk again but I miss her so much. I wondered if she knew about Matt and Dominik, and how she would react. I mean Matt's her brother after all and she is close with his wife and four kids. The thought of seeing her again stirred something inside me. I needed to find out what else Matt was up to and why he was being so secretive.
