anyway

if u didnt read the first book and kept reading this for some unknown reason

imma give u a quick summary of book 1 and also just to refresh ur minds

even tho it hasnt been a day since i finished book one but ANYWAY

so

Stellar has just found out that her sister, Lila is going on a mission to 1963 Dallas Texas to try and find the Hargreeves siblings, specifically Diego

Stellar gets sent into solitary confinement where she is forced to trace visions to make sure that Lila is safe

After about a year, Stellar escapes from the Commission and lands in the middle of a conversation between the Handler and Five

She meets Five, reunites with Lila and gets her mother to explain everything

After that, she beats Five up (jk)

theres a fight scene and eventually five tells the handler that he'll take her deal to kill the board of directors in exchange for a way to 2019

five kills the board blah blah blah

and then he finds out that the briefcase has a timer

and by the time the timer is up

no one is there

anyway

five is understandably pissed

and he goes and decides to find his older self to steal his

in this time Stellar and Lila have both come back to 1963 in Dallas and while Lila tries to find Diego and recruit him for Commission, Stellar goes and decides to help (really just observe bc he doesn't trust her) Five

After this encounter the president dies (poor diego his hubby) and when Stellar gets back to the place where the hargreeves are hiding, she finds out that Five killed her biological parents

um long story short her and lila are both now very very very very very very very very angry

and they call for war on the siblings (kidding it was the handler)

anyway they fight again

and then right before stellar is about to absolutely demolish five and shes sneaking around and whatnot

he reveals to lila that the handler ordered him to kill their parents

and yeah ig they both believed him bc its such a handler thing to do

anyway stellar and lila r both like wtf and they start crying

guys ik they were angry like a second ago but like

they found out that five killed their parents

and then that their mother killed their parents

and then...

yeah

its..a lot ig

anyway

the handler dies when trying to shoot five and lila runs for the briefcase that their mother had dropped on the floor, grabs stellar's hand and bye bye hargreeves
