15-year-old Hamato Amai, with her black hair in a waterfall braid with red highlights, wearing a dark purple dress, leather jacket, black tights, and her usually yang shaped black necklace was walking in the lair with a smile but paused with a scowl when she saw 16-year-old Irrilia, who was wearing her usual red poncho."Irrilia," Amai greeted coldly.
"Amai," Irrilia said in return.
The two glared at each other for a while before Irrilia decided to clear her throat, "I was on my way to the dojo." Amai smirked. "Maybe I will join you there later."
"It's a private lesson with Jiji and Uncle Leo. To prepare me to take over the Hamato Clan one day?" Irrilia explained a bit bitterly. Every part of her wished to mop the floor with her cousin's face but she knew her grandfather nor Uncle would allow that.
"Aw, shame. I had some new spells I wanted to test out," Amai grinned devilishly while spinning her finger, magic energy leaking out of it and Irrilia tensed slightly but growled. "Magic isn't real Ninjutsu!"
"Try telling that to my Kaasan and Aunt April. They use their powers for fighting all the time." Knowing that she had a point, Irrilia kept her mouth shut and instead growled in frustration as she stomped out of the room, purposely bumping against Amai's shoulder who felt like she needed a bit of payback.
"Kanojo no migiashi o hidariashi ni kaeru!" She cast with a snap of her finger and smirked mischievously, knowing what was in store for her dear cousin. "Ooo, did you just cast a spell?!" A cheerful voice asked and she turned her head to see her triplet cousins.
Lita was staring at her with confusion, her pink hair pulled down in a crown braid ponytail, she was wearing a white shirt and pink skirt. Frida, who was munching on chips, had her crazy wavy wild green-blond hair down, and she was wearing a baggy green jacket, a white crap shirt with thin pink straps, and high waist blue jeans. Finally, Artemisia who had shoulder length blond hair with square bangs was wearing an off the shoulder light pink sweatshirt with white straps and blue jeans.
Amai smiled at them as she answered, "Possibly."
"What did you do?" Frida asked as she was between chewing her chips, "You didn't turn her into a frog or anything, did you?"
"Let's just say...her training session won't go as well as she hoped," Amai chuckled as she walked down the steps but froze when she felt something at the bottom of her shoe. She looked down to see what it was and gasped.
"What is it?!" Lita asked as she and her sisters looked over her shoulder, but they raised a brow when they saw it was a necklace that looked just like Amai's but it was the Yin sign. "Yoshi's necklace..." Amai whispered, looking hurt as she picked it up. "He lost it?"
"What's the big deal, it's just a necklace?" Frida asked, confused and Amai scoffed. "You three wouldn't get it."
"What do you mean?" Missy asked, titling her head. "Yoshi and I are twins. We had these necklaces since we were babies and him losing it...." Amai trailed off, unable to finish and instead glared at the three girls. "You just wouldn't get it!"
"Why wouldn't we get it? You do know, we're triplets, right?" Frida said, gesturing to herself and her sisters. "Yeah but you aren't twins," Amai stressed. "Yoshi and I are always in perfect sync but you three are like a broken melody. Two goes A while the other goes C."
"That's not true!" Lita and Firda shouted at once but Missy was a beat behind. "Yeah, that's not true!" The two older triplets blinked while looking at their younger sister who looked at them confused. "What?"
"See? Point proven. Now, excuse me, I have a brother to kill," Amai said while heading to the kitchen and the triplets, curious, followed right behind her.
