The rooftop café was just as beautiful as Jungkook had promised. With fairy lights hanging from the ceiling and soft music playing in the background, the ambiance felt magical. The city’s skyline stretched out around them, but all Jimin could focus on was Jungkook, sitting across from him, his face glowing in the golden light of the setting sun.

Jimin smiled, swirling his drink with his straw. "This place is really nice. You have good taste."

Jungkook grinned. "Well, I figured if I was going to ask you out on a proper date, I should take you somewhere special."

Jimin’s heart did a little flip at the word "date." They’d been spending so much time together lately, texting and calling nearly every day, but this felt different—more serious, more meaningful. He wasn’t sure what Jungkook had planned, but something about tonight felt special.

"It’s definitely special," Jimin said, his smile soft as he took a sip of his drink.

They chatted easily, their conversation flowing from one topic to the next. Jimin told Jungkook about his week at the flower shop—how a customer had come in and bought a bouquet to apologize to his girlfriend, only to return a few hours later with the same bouquet after the apology didn’t work. Jungkook laughed, his eyes crinkling in that way Jimin adored, and shared stories about the latest car models his company was developing.

"I don’t know how you balance it all," Jimin said, genuinely impressed. "Running a whole company and still making time to hang out with me."

Jungkook leaned forward, resting his chin on his hand, his eyes never leaving Jimin’s. "I make time for the things that matter to me, Jimin. And you matter."

Jimin felt his cheeks warm, and he looked down at his hands, trying to hide his flustered smile. "You’re smooth, you know that?"

"I’m just being honest," Jungkook replied, his voice soft but sincere.

They fell into a comfortable silence, the city lights twinkling around them as the night grew darker. Jimin gazed out at the view for a moment, feeling the cool breeze on his skin, and when he turned back, he caught Jungkook staring at him with an intensity that made his heart race.

"Jimin," Jungkook said, his tone suddenly more serious.

Jimin blinked, sitting up a little straighter. "Yeah?"

Jungkook hesitated for a second, as if gathering his thoughts, and then leaned in closer. "I’ve been thinking about us… a lot, actually. These past few weeks have been incredible, and I can’t stop thinking about you, even when I’m at work. Every text, every call—it just makes me want to be closer to you."

Jimin’s breath hitched slightly. He could feel something coming, something that made his heart pound in anticipation.

"I know we haven’t known each other for that long," Jungkook continued, his voice steady, "but I don’t think that matters. What matters is how I feel when I’m with you, and I don’t want to just keep this casual anymore."

Jimin’s eyes widened, his heart racing as he listened to Jungkook’s words.

"I want us to be more than just... whatever we’ve been. I want you to be my boyfriend, Jimin. I want to make this official, if that’s what you want too."

Jimin blinked, his heart now pounding in his ears. He hadn’t expected this, not tonight, but hearing Jungkook say those words made everything click into place. He felt the same way—of course he did. The thought of being with Jungkook, officially, made his chest fill with warmth.

For a moment, he was speechless, staring at Jungkook, whose eyes were filled with a hopeful kind of vulnerability.

"Jungkook..." Jimin finally said, his voice soft but steady. "I... I feel the same way. I’ve been thinking about you all the time too. And I’d love to be your boyfriend."

A wide grin broke across Jungkook’s face, and before Jimin could react, Jungkook reached across the table, taking Jimin’s hands in his own.

"Really?" Jungkook asked, his eyes lighting up.

Jimin nodded, smiling brightly. "Yes, really."

Jungkook let out a soft laugh of pure joy, his thumb gently stroking the back of Jimin’s hand. "You have no idea how happy that makes me."

Jimin chuckled softly, his heart feeling lighter than it had in a long time. "I think I have a pretty good idea."

They sat there for a moment, just holding hands and smiling at each other, the world around them fading into the background. It felt like everything had shifted between them in the best way possible.

"So, I guess this means our dates will be even more fun from now on?" Jimin teased, breaking the comfortable silence.

Jungkook laughed, nodding. "Oh, definitely. I’ll have to step up my game, make sure I’m the best boyfriend you’ve ever had."

Jimin grinned, squeezing Jungkook’s hands. "I don’t think you’ll have to try too hard. You’re already pretty amazing."

Jungkook’s expression softened, his eyes filled with affection. "You make me feel like I’m the luckiest guy in the world, Jimin."

Jimin’s heart swelled at the words, and he squeezed Jungkook’s hands again. "I feel the same way."

As they finished their drinks and headed out of the café, walking side by side under the city lights, Jimin couldn’t help but feel that something beautiful had just begun. And as Jungkook’s fingers laced with his, holding his hand gently but securely, Jimin knew that this was the start of something special—a love that felt as warm and cozy as their perfect Saturday night.
