Third person POV:

The living room was settling down after a night filled with laughter and playful dares. Most of the boys had either passed out on the floor or sunk into the couch, leaving behind a warm, chaotic atmosphere. But for Hyunjin, the mood felt different. His mind was still racing from the kiss he shared with Felix, the weight of the moment hanging heavy in the air.

As he poured himself a glass of water in the kitchen, he heard Felix's voice behind him. "Hey," he said softly, leaning against the counter.

"Hey," Hyunjin replied, his heart fluttering. He felt a mix of nerves and anticipation.

"About earlier..." Felix began, his eyes searching for the right words.

"Yeah?" Hyunjin's heart raced, hoping for something deeper.

Felix bit his lip, clearly hesitant. "I didn't think you'd actually do it. The dare, I mean."

Hyunjin took a deep breath, trying to steady himself. "Neither did I. It was just a game, right?"

The moment those words left his mouth, he noticed the change in Felix's expression. The spark of excitement dimmed, replaced by a flicker of disappointment. "Right. Just a game," Felix echoed, but there was a heaviness in his tone.

Hyunjin could feel the weight of the silence between them. He glanced away, guilt creeping in. "I mean... it was fun, but it was just part of the game. I don't want to complicate things between us."

Felix's eyes fell to the floor, and Hyunjin could almost see the realization settling in. "Yeah, you're right. It was just a game," he replied, forcing a smile that didn't quite reach his eyes.

Hyunjin's heart sank at the sight of Felix's disappointment, a pang of regret twisting inside him. He could sense that Felix had wanted something more—something he hadn't been ready to admit. "I didn't mean to—"

"No, it's fine," Felix interrupted, his voice steadier than his expression. "I get it. It was just a game."

The words felt heavy, laden with unsaid emotions. Hyunjin nodded, trying to convince himself that he meant it, but deep down, he felt a crack forming in his heart. Why had he felt so much during that kiss if it was just a game?

Felix offered a small, forced smile, though his eyes were clouded with something unspoken. "Let's just... keep it as it is," he said quietly.

"Yeah, that sounds good," Hyunjin replied, though he felt a knot tightening in his stomach.

As they turned to head back into the living room, the playful chaos resumed around them. Jisung was trying to balance a stack of snacks while Seungmin and Changbin laughed at his antics. But as Hyunjin joined in, he couldn't shake the feeling of something unresolved between him and Felix.

They settled back into the group, laughter echoing around them, but Hyunjin's heart felt heavy. The moment he'd shared with Felix lingered like a bittersweet memory, a reminder of what could have been.

As Felix tried to join in on the laughter, Hyunjin noticed the way his smile didn't quite reach his eyes. Maybe it was just a game, but for him, it felt like so much more.

And as the night wore on, the crack in Hyunjin's heart widened, leaving him wondering if they could ever navigate the fine line between friendship and something deeper.

Felix POV:

The laughter and chaos of the game night swirled around me, but I felt oddly detached from it all. As I settled back onto the couch, I couldn't shake the heaviness in my chest. The moment I had shared with Hyunjin replayed in my mind, each detail sharp and vivid.
