Jeongin POV:
As I sat at the breakfast table, I could feel the lively energy of the room all around me. Changbin and Chan were in the middle of one of their usual antics, trying to outdo each other with silly jokes. But my attention kept drifting back to Felix and Hyunjin.
Felix was stealing glances at Hyunjin like he was the only person in the room, and I could see the way his expression softened whenever Hyunjin laughed. It was clear he was smitten, but part of me worried about what was brewing beneath the surface.
When Her Majesty called out Felix's name, the whole table turned to look at him. He looked like a deer caught in headlights, and I stifled a laugh as I watched him stumble over his words. Hyunjin turned red, and I couldn't help but smirk at the chaos unfolding.
After a brief moment, Felix quickly recovered, but I sensed the tension in the air. Then, without warning, he beckoned Hyunjin to follow him outside to the garden. My heart raced a little. Was this the moment they'd finally talk about what had been lingering between them?
I watched as they stepped outside, the sunlight enveloping them like a warm embrace. Felix leaned against the railing, trying to look casual, but I could see the seriousness in his posture. Hyunjin, on the other hand, seemed hesitant, his body language tight. I felt a mix of hope and anxiety-hope that Felix would finally break through to Hyunjin, and anxiety that things might not go as planned.
As I finished my breakfast, I tried to catch snippets of their conversation through the open window, but all I could hear were muffled voices. I felt a little helpless, wishing I could be a part of that conversation, to offer support if needed.
After what felt like an eternity, Felix and Hyunjin finally returned to the table. Felix looked a bit more relaxed, but Hyunjin's expression was still guarded. I couldn't read him, and that worried me.
Once they settled back into their seats, I decided it was my turn to approach Hyunjin. "Hey, you okay?" I asked, keeping my tone light.
Hyunjin looked up, and for a brief moment, I saw a flicker of something-anxiety? Relief? I couldn't tell. "Yeah, just... had a lot on my mind," he replied, but the way he avoided eye contact made me question that.
I leaned in closer, lowering my voice. "You know you can talk to me too, right? About anything."
He nodded slowly, though I could see the weight still pressing on his shoulders. "Thanks, Jeongin. I appreciate it."
As I watched him, I realized how much Hyunjin meant to me as a friend, and how important it was for him to feel supported, especially with everything he was going through. I wanted to be there for him, to help him find the courage to open up, just like Felix was trying to do.
"Just remember, I'm here," I said softly, offering a reassuring smile. "Whenever you're ready."
Hyunjin's lips twitched into a small smile, but it didn't quite reach his eyes. I knew this wasn't over; they still had a lot to figure out. But for now, I would give him space while standing by, ready to help whenever he needed it.
✨Time skip to Noon when Felix and his friends were chilling by the pool and they start playing a game✨
Third person POV:
The sun blazed high in the sky, casting shimmering reflections on the surface of the pool. Laughter and splashes echoed as Felix, Hyunjin, Changbin, Chan, Jeongin, Minho, Jisung, and Seungmin lounged around, enjoying the warm summer day.
