This is both sad and a happy chapter 💙

The royal funeral was a somber affair, filled with the weight of grief and loss. The sky seemed to mirror the mood, dark and cloudy, as the royal family gathered around the caskets of Felix's parents, the late king and queen. Felix stood at the front, his face stained with tears that hadn't stopped falling since the news of the plane crash arrived two days ago. His body shook with the force of his sobs, and Hyunjin, standing by his side, gently held him, trying to offer comfort despite his own heartache.

Hyunjin couldn't stop his own tears. The king and queen had treated him like their own, showing him the warmth and love of parents. The loss cut deep, and though he tried to remain strong for Felix, every now and then his grief spilled out. He squeezed Felix's hand, silently sharing in his pain.

Their ten-year-old son, Yongjin, stood nearby, doing his best to hold himself together. His young face was twisted with sorrow, and his small shoulders shook as he tried to stay strong for his younger sisters. Hyena and Felicia, both now five, clung to him, each holding a bouquet of flowers, their tiny faces wet with tears. The sight of his daughters' broken expressions made Hyunjin's heart ache even more.

Yongjin led his sisters forward, guiding them gently to their grandparents' coffins. In silence, they placed the bouquets on top, their small hands lingering on the wood as if saying a final goodbye. As they turned to walk back, Hyunjin gave them a soft smile, his heart swelling with pride and pain.

Hyunsoo, their three-year-old son, was nestled in Hyunjin's arms, his little face pressed against his mother's chest as he cried quietly, not fully understanding the gravity of the situation but feeling the weight of sadness around him. Hyunjin kissed the top of his head, rocking him gently, trying to soothe him.

Nearby, Jisung was in a similar position, cradling his own children while trying to comfort his husband, Minho, who was inconsolable. Minho's face was buried in his hands, his shoulders shaking with grief. Jisung held him close, whispering comforting words while wiping his own tears away.

After the service, as family and friends paid their respects and tried to offer some consolation, Felix and Minho found each other. They stood there, face to face, the shared pain in their eyes saying everything. Without a word, they embraced, holding onto each other tightly. Both brothers sobbed uncontrollably, their hearts shattered by the loss of their parents.

Hyunjin and Jisung exchanged a knowing look, both understanding that no words could ease the pain Felix and Minho were feeling. It was a loss that would stay with them forever, but in that moment, the brothers had each other. As the two of them clung to one another, crying in each other's arms, the rest of the world seemed to fade away. All that remained was the bond between them, their shared grief, and the strength they would find in each other to move forward.

The funeral, though a farewell to the king and queen, was also a reminder of the deep love and unity that still held the royal family together, even in the darkest of times.

Two weeks had passed since the funeral, but the grief in the palace still lingered like a dark cloud. Life had resumed in some form, but the pain of the royal family's loss remained sharp, especially for Felix and Minho. Every day, without fail, the two brothers visited their parents' graves, sometimes together, sometimes alone. They would sit by the gravestones, talking softly to their parents as if they could still hear them, letting their tears flow freely.

Felix was particularly broken. He had always been close to his parents, their guidance and love shaping much of who he was. Now, with them gone, he seemed lost. The laughter that once filled the palace halls was now absent from his voice. He ate little, slept poorly, and spent most of his days in silence or at the gravesite. Even when he was with his children, he struggled to hide the depth of his sorrow.
