Third person POV:

"Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed guests, and beloved citizens of our country." Felix's voice rang through the mic as he was about to give a speech to the crowd standing on stage.

"Today, we stand together at the dawn of a new chapter-one filled with promise, hope, and unity. Each of you plays a vital role in shaping our future, and together, we can overcome any challenge that lies ahead.

As your prince, I pledge to listen to your voices, to honor your dreams, and to protect the values that bind us. We are stronger together, and it is in our diversity that we find our greatest strength. Let us embrace our differences and work hand in hand, for only then can we truly thrive.

In the coming days, we will face trials that will test our resolve. But remember, it is in our darkest moments that our true character shines. Let us face these challenges with courage and determination, united as one.

So, let us rise to the occasion! Let us build a kingdom where every voice is heard, every dream nurtured, and every heart cherished. Together, we will forge a future we can all be proud of!

Thank you!"

The crowd cheered as the cameras flashed, taking pictures of Felix smiling and waving at them. Hyunjin was standing at the foot of the stage, his eyes scanning the crowd for any sort of danger. Felix got down the stage as flashes kept coming towards him. Hyunjin got in front of him, trying to separate him from the crowd. He signaled the other guards to surround them both and led him towards the car. They both got inside and locked the doors as the guards were keeping the press away from them.

"Take us back to the palace, please," Hyunjin said to the driver. The driver nodded and started the car.

"Ugh, that was exhausting!" Felix exclaimed, closing his eyes and resting his head against the seat.

"You should take a rest if you're feeling tired, Your Highness," Hyunjin advised. They had a heavy schedule today, with meetings and interviews from morning until now, leaving them both exhausted. Felix nodded, keeping his eyes closed. Soon, he fell asleep while Hyunjin gazed at him, taking in his features. He looked so pretty, with the sunlight casting a warm glow on his face. His freckles shimmered in the rays, making him look like an angel. Hyunjin's heart raced as he smiled softly while admiring Felix's face.

He snapped out of his trance when the driver informed him they had arrived. Hyunjin gently woke Felix. "Please wake up, Your Highness. We have arrived," he said, tapping Felix's shoulder. Felix stirred, got out of the car, and stretched. They both entered the palace to be greeted by Felix's brother and Jisung.

"So, how was your day? Pretty exhausting, right?" Jisung asked as they settled onto the couch.

"Tell me about it! Those interviewers wouldn't even let me breathe! They asked way too many personal questions. Like, 'Your Highness, are you currently in any relationship or dating anyone?' and 'Is there anyone in your mind you would like to marry? We heard from the last interview with His Majesty that he's considering getting you married since you're of the right age.' Like, bitch, no, I'm not interested in dating anyone, and I'll get married whenever the hell I want! Stop prying into my private life!" Felix vented, sinking deeper into the couch.

"Language, Felix. And yes, you're right; they are asking too many personal questions. Maybe you should talk to Dad about this marriage matter." Hyunjin felt a pang in his heart at the mention of marriage, even though he knew Felix wasn't ready for that yet.

"Yeah, you're right. I should talk to him about it. Where is he now?" Felix asked.

"In his office," Minho answered.

Felix nodded and turned to Hyunjin. "Go to your room now. You look exhausted." He offered a small smile, which made Hyunjin's heart flutter and ache at the same time. Bowing slightly, Hyunjin left for his room. Before going, he looked back at Felix, returning the smile, but it felt forced. Felix noticed the hurt in Hyunjin's expression and felt confused about why he seemed upset.

Shaking his head he left for his father's office thinking about the interview. When the interviewer asked him about marriage his mind suddenly drifted to Hyunjin. He blushed at the thought of him marrying Hyunjin. Hyunjin would look so pretty walking to the altar holding a flower bouquet in his hand and- wait what?! What the hell is he thinking?!

He quickly shook his head, trying not to imagine any more fantasies in his head. He took deep breaths to compose himself before knocking on the door. He got a "Come in" and entered. The room was lit with bright lights from the chandelier which was hanging on the ceiling. There were many family portraits hanging on the walls and a huge clock on the left wall. His father was checking some important documents when he looked up and saw Felix. "Oh Felix! Come in, son." The king exclaimed. "Thanks, dad. Nice to see you as well."

"Well Felix, what brings you here? Must be something important." He said, closing the file and taking off his glasses, setting them down.

"Dad, at the interview earlier, the interviewer mentioned about you saying something related to my marriage." Felix said looking at his father.

"Yes and?" His father asked.

"And she said that you want me to get married. Dad, I don't want to marry anyone right now. It is my decision when and who I will marry or whether I will marry them or not." Felix told him.

"Are you saying this because you already have someone in mind?" His father asked raising his eyebrows.

"What? Who would I have in mind?" Felix asked, confused.

"Oh, I don't know. Perhaps Hyunjin?" He said, smirking.

"What?! What you saying?! DAD?!" Felix asked bewildered.

"Relax! I was joking!" His father chuckled. Oh, but he was not joking at all. He knew about Felix's feelings for Hyunjin. His son is too dumb when it comes to his feelings. Felix on the other hand, was embarrassed at the mention of him marrying Hyunjin.

"Okay, son. It's up to you whether you will marry or not. The decision is yours." He said patting Felix's shoulder. "Thanks, dad." Felix said, smiling.

Felix felt a rush of relief wash over him as he stepped back from the conversation. His father's playful teasing only highlighted the whirlwind of emotions he was trying to navigate. The idea of marrying Hyunjin was both exhilarating and terrifying-how could he even entertain such thoughts when he hadn't fully processed his feelings yet?

Felix smiled back, feeling a weight lift off his shoulders. But as he turned to leave, the image of Hyunjin in a suit, holding that bouquet, crept back into his mind. He quickly shook it off, focusing instead on the responsibilities ahead.

"Right, back to work," he muttered to himself, walking out of the office.

His father smiled, shaking his head as he watched him leave.
