A few months had passed since their wedding night, and Hyunjin's pregnancy was undeniable. The grand palace, with its high ceilings and opulent décor, was filled with both laughter and the challenges of impending parenthood. While the halls echoed with joy, they also witnessed Hyunjin's mood swings.

One afternoon, Felix returned home from a market visit, his arms filled with colorful bags. "Wifey! You won't believe what I brought for you!" he called, his voice bright and playful.

Hyunjin was lounging on a lavish couch, surrounded by silk pillows, his expression a mixture of annoyance and fatigue. "I don't want to hear it," he pouted, crossing his arms dramatically.

Felix raised an eyebrow, unable to hide his amusement. "Oh, come on, my beautiful wifey! What's wrong?" He set the bags down and walked closer, kneeling beside the couch.

"I don't want fruits or snacks! I want something else!" Hyunjin exclaimed, his voice rising with exaggerated flair.

Felix chuckled, the sight of his husband acting so childlike warming his heart. "Okay, okay! What would you like?" He leaned in closer, his eyes sparkling with mischief.

Hyunjin turned his head away, pretending to sulk. "I don't know! Just... make it better!"

Felix took a deep breath, trying not to laugh. "How about I whip up your favorite pasta? I'll add all the cheese you like, just for you, my sweet wifey."

Hyunjin's frown softened slightly, though he still tried to maintain his irritation. "That sounds... okay," he relented, peeking at Felix from the corner of his eye.

Felix beamed, placing a hand on Hyunjin's shoulder. "See? It's not so bad. You know I'm always here to spoil you."

As Felix headed to the grand kitchen, he heard Hyunjin mumbling, "I just wanted a hug."

Felix turned on his heel, a soft smile on his lips. "Well, why didn't you say so?" He rushed back, wrapping his arms around Hyunjin in a warm embrace. "I'm here for all your needs, my adorable wifey."

Hyunjin melted into the hug, burying his face in Felix's shoulder. "It's just... everything feels so confusing," he admitted, his voice muffled. "I don't know what I want."

Felix rubbed his back soothingly, his voice gentle. "It's perfectly okay to feel that way. We'll navigate this journey together. You know I'm on your side, right?"

After a moment, Hyunjin pulled back slightly, a soft smile breaking through his pout. "You really are the best, you know."

Felix winked, his playful spirit shining. "And I'll keep being the best as long as you keep being my wifey. Now, let's make that pasta!"

As he moved to prepare the meal, the rich scents of garlic and cheese began to fill the air. Hyunjin watched, his heart swelling with affection. In their grand palace, it was moments like these—filled with love, laughter, and a hint of playfulness—that truly made it feel like home.

The sun was setting, casting a warm glow through the large windows of their palace home. Felix and Hyunjin were nestled together on the plush sofa, enjoying a quiet moment. The atmosphere was serene, a gentle pause before the whirlwind of parenthood.

"You look absolutely radiant tonight, my love," Felix said, brushing a loose strand of hair behind Hyunjin's ear. "How are you feeling, sweetheart?"

Hyunjin leaned into Felix's touch, a smile brightening his face. "I feel... good, but a bit restless," he admitted, a hint of nervousness creeping into his voice. "I think the baby's getting ready to make an appearance."

Felix's heart soared at the thought. "You're going to be an amazing mom, baby," he said, wrapping his arms around Hyunjin, pulling him close.

Suddenly, Hyunjin's expression shifted, discomfort flashing across his face. "Felix... I think something's happening," he said, his voice trembling slightly.

Felix straightened, concern flooding his features. "What do you mean, love?" He watched closely as Hyunjin gripped the armrest, his knuckles turning white.

"It's... it's starting. I can feel the contractions," Hyunjin replied, his breath quickening. "I think it's really happening."

"Okay, okay. Just breathe," Felix urged, quickly shifting into caregiver mode. "Let's get you to the hospital."

With some effort, they stood together, Hyunjin leaning on Felix for support. As they made their way to the car, Felix kept glancing at him, his heart both racing and swelling with pride. "You're so strong, wifey. I'm here for you," he whispered.

Arriving at the hospital, the world around them seemed to blur. Medical staff guided them to a private room, and soon Hyunjin was settled on the bed, breathing through the initial waves of labor.

"Just focus on me, Hyunjin," Felix said, kneeling by his side. "I'm right here, always."

Hyunjin nodded, his eyes wide with a mix of fear and determination. "Lix, it hurts," he confessed, tears glistening in his eyes.

"I know, sweetheart. But you're doing amazing," Felix said, brushing a damp strand of hair from Hyunjin's forehead. "Just breathe for me, my angel."

As the contractions intensified, Hyunjin gripped Felix's hand tightly, a mix of pain and resolve etched across his face. "Stay with me, please," he pleaded, his voice trembling.

"I'm not going anywhere, my love. You're my everything," Felix promised, his heart aching for his husband. "Think of our baby. Just a little more."

The medical team entered, ready to guide Hyunjin through the final stages. "You're almost there, Hyunjin. When you feel the next contraction, push with all your strength," the doctor instructed.

Felix kept his focus on Hyunjin, their eyes locked. "You can do this, my beautiful wifey. I believe in you," he said, his voice steady and full of love.

With each contraction, Hyunjin pushed through the pain, drawing strength from Felix's unwavering support. "Lix! I can't—"

"Yes, you can! Just a little more!" Felix encouraged, his heart racing as he witnessed the strength in Hyunjin's determination.

Finally, with one last, powerful push, the air filled with the sound of a baby's first cry. Felix's eyes widened in disbelief and joy. "You did it! You did it, my love!"

Exhausted but elated, Hyunjin collapsed back against the pillows, tears of relief and joy spilling down his cheeks. Felix rushed to the bassinet, gently lifting their newborn and bringing the tiny bundle to Hyunjin.

"Look at our baby," Felix whispered, his voice trembling with emotion. Hyunjin's face lit up as he reached out to touch their child, his heart overflowing with love.

"We... we did it," Hyunjin breathed, a smile breaking through his tears.

Felix leaned in, kissing Hyunjin softly. "You are incredible, my darling. I'm so proud of you."

In that moment, surrounded by love and the warmth of their new family, the challenges of the day faded away, replaced by the joy of their beautiful new beginning.
