Damien's POV

Ever since Noel laid it out on the table I haven't seen rest. It amazed me how she was able to decipher all of that using only videos.

But I also couldn't get one thing out of my mind. What did they want from Noel? Just what was it?

"Don't forget Uncle is going to fetch me after classes" Noel said reminding me.

"Alright, be careful"

"Sure" she said going. I swear this girl always said sure but I don't believe she meant it.

I went to work and tried my very best to solve the case when I felt my head was about to explode I went to Stefan's office.

I went in.

"Damien seriously man would it kill you to knock?" he said seated at his meeting table with some employees.

"I told you I'd start knocking the day I know you have a girlfriend"I said then took a seat on the couch.

"Please excuse us" Stefan said and the employees left.

"What is up with you why are you grumpy?, ugh wait you're always grumpy just today it's times eight" he got closer and sat on one of the couches.

"What do you think about Rome?" I asked and Stefan's confusion was perfectly illustrated on his face.

"What?"

"Nevermind"

"Is it the X issue?" he asked. Stefan knew me too well it's almost creepy.

"It's everything, it's even my thoughts"

"What do you mean?" I don't even understand how I came to this conclusion.

"I somehow feel like Noel is in the middle of all this and the consequences to that are gonna be horrible. I mean take the amount of attacks we've been getting lately since she arrived"

"So what are you saying?" he asked.

"They want Noel Stefan.. I can feel it" In the middle of our talk his work phone rang.

"Hold on" he said and went to answer it.

"Yeah we're together why?"
I looked towards him. He seemed to listen to whatever the other person said and then got all chaotic.

That's when I stood up seeing how serious he was at the same he motioned me to stand up.

"What?" I asked him when he got of the call.

"Let's go, you're not gonna like this"

"How does an entire army get in here with you three on watch and steal diamonds worth 500 FUCKIN MILLION!!?" I questioned the dimwits standing in front of me practically looking for death.

"They... They were armed sir" One of the them said making my eye twitch out of anger.

"You three take them to the base" I instructed the guards we came with. Something was smelling fishy and it was not because we were next to the sea.

"Sir please it was not our fault" the italian one begged in italian being dragged away by the Cassano bodyguards.

Looking at the open safe with no diamonds inside infuriated me.

This was not good at all. Taking out my phone I called Eliza.

"Eliza get to MLi right now"

"Damien I just checked the whole area it's not just the diamonds they took the guns as well" Stefan said.
