Chapter 2: reunited

When someone says there gonna come for you, you think they will right? Well not for Iris. Iris Salvatore has been waiting for 148 years for her brothers to come find her like Katherine said. And they still haven't. Now you may be wondering why Iris isn't in panic that something happened to her brothers, but no, Iris knows that their in mystic falls. Their hometown. Your probably also wondering how Iris is alive. Well when Katherine send Iris to that witch, the witch told her all about the supernatural world and how everything works, Iris spent about eight years freaking out and waiting for her brothers, but on her seventeenth birthday, something clicked in her brain that they went coming for her. So Iris fled New Orleans where she was staying with the witch Katherine handed her to and she took matters into her own hands. She turned herself into a vampire at 17 and spent 140 years training herself, becoming stronger and stronger. And now it's time, she's ready. Iris Salvatore is returning to Mystic falls.

Iris hopped out of the Uber, she arrived in Mystic falls, holding nothing but her black shoulder bag and having nothing but the dark blue flared jeans, dark purple top and black leather jacket on her person. She flicked her long, straight black hair over her shoulder as she walked right into school, she walked past the crowd at the start of school and all the founders day preparations, ew, and she strutted straight to the office. "Are you new here, how can I help you-" The office lady starts as Iris cuts her off by staring straight into her eyes, "I'm Iris Salvatore, Stefan Salvatores twin sister, I just moved back in town and all my registration for the school should be set, I just need my class schedule" she compels as the office lady nods her head and hands her, her class schedule, "Thankyou" she replies with a smile as she turns on her slightly heeled black boots and walks out of the office.

As Iris walks into her first class, Maths, she takes a seat next to a blonde girl with a smile plastered on her face. "Hi! I'm Caroline, you must be new here, what's your name?" She questions with a bubbly voice, "Iris, Iris Salvatore" Iris replies as Caroline's face turns to shock, "Stefan and Damon's sister?" She questions as I nod my head, "yeah I just moved back here from New Orleans" She replies with a smile and as Caroline continues to blabber on, Iris zones out as she notices the one and only Stefan Salvatore walk in, beside Elena Gilbert, the Katherine pierce copy and paste.

Yeah, if you thought Iris wasn't going to do her research before coming back to Mystic Falls you are so wrong. Iris makes eye contact with Stefan and as she is on the verge of breaking into tears at the sight of her beloved brother she members that he didn't come for her for 148 years. And as the last time Stefan saw Iris, she was 9 so he has no clue who she is. But he does have a clue about her necklace, the blue pendant necklace with silver detailing on her neck, the necklace she was given by Katherine the last day Stefan saw her. As Stefan continues to stare at his sister's necklace he gets shaken from his trance by Elena pulling him along to their desks.

After the bell rings for the next period Iris walks out of the class as Stefan follows her closely. She leads him out of the exit door and towards where all the druggies hang out as she suddenly gets pushed against the wall to see Stefan in front of her. "Attacking teenagers, what's happened to you stef?" Iris sarcastically asks with a smirk, "I know you're a vampire. How did you get that necklace" Stefan snaps as Iris just giggles and pushes him off. "Has it really been that long" Iris teases as Stefan's gaze softens, "your gonna regret ever forgetting about me" Iris spits out as she stabs Stefan in the stomach with a pocket knife she had in her jacket.

As Stefan doubles over in pain Iris feels a tint of guilt but hides it with a smirk on her face, "I've spent the last 148 years training to be stronger, you better wa-" As Iris continues her threat she gets cut off as someone stabs her with a Vervain injection as she turns to see Elena before it all goes black. "Get back to class, I'm taking her back home, I'll lock her in the cellar" Stefan informs Elena as she nods, "be careful" she warns as Stefan nods his head and picks up his sister, This cat be true, she cannot be alive.
