Chapter 13: Falsely Accused
The following day, Prince Adam awoke and gazed at his reflection in the mirror. He realized he had returned to his human form, along with Lumiere, Mrs. Potter, her son Chip, Cogsworth, and the other servants.
Mrs. Potter was ecstatic, exclaiming, "Your Highness, you have finally discovered love!"
Prince Adam embraced Mrs. Potter before hurrying to Rachel's room, where she was still asleep.
Startled, Rachel asked, "What is happening?" and, upon seeing Prince Adam, she became frightened and questioned, "Who are you?!"
"There's no need to be afraid. It's me, Adam," Prince Adam comforted her. Rachel glanced at him once more and recognized him. They shared a kiss. The servants were aware that Prince Adam and Rachel were set to marry soon, and they also knew that Henry would be pleased about it.

Gaston
Gaston and LeFou were on active duty while Jackie was nine months pregnant. Gaston was looking forward to becoming a father and promised to marry Jackie when he returned. However, Larry had been threatening Jackie. One day, as Jackie was getting ready for work, she noticed two police officers walking toward her house.
When they reached her, she asked, "May I help you?"
One of the officers inquired, "Are you Jackie Foster?"
Jackie confirmed and asked, "What's going on?"
"Your boss, Mr. Johnson, has accused you of stealing money from him," the police officer stated.
"I did not steal any money from Mr. Johnson. What proof does he have?!" Jackie exclaimed angrily.
"I do not know, but we have orders to arrest you," the officer replied with a heavy heart.
He did not want to arrest her because he believed she was innocent. The officer was aware that Governor Hatching had paid Mr. Johnson to fabricate the accusation against Jackie. Reluctantly, the police officer took Jackie to jail. Meanwhile, Peggy rushed to Martin's house.
Martin was having breakfast in the kitchen when he spotted Peggy running towards his house, looking distressed.
"Peggy, what's wrong?" he inquired. "The police have taken Jackie into custody!" Peggy exclaimed angrily.
"What? Why did they arrest her?!" Martin asked, taken aback.
"Mr. Johnson, her boss, accused her of stealing money. I'm certain that Larry Hatching has bribed Mr. Johnson to falsely claim that Jackie stole from him. Larry has been threatening Jackie ever since she got engaged to Gaston. I don't know what to do; I can't afford a lawyer!" Peggy said, tears streaming down her face.
"Peggy, you need to calm down. As soon as Ryan and Emily get home from their honeymoon, I am sure Ryan will help Jackie," Martin assures Peggy.
"We cannot let Jackie stay in jail!" Peggy cries.
"Peggy, calm down. You cannot allow yourself to get upset. It is not good for your health. You do not want to become sick. There is nothing we can do for Jackie right now. We just have to wait until Ryan gets home," Martin suggests.
Jackie went into labor while in jail, and the doctor informed her that her baby had died. Overwhelmed with grief, Jackie felt anger towards Larry, blaming him for her loss.
When Larry came to visit her, Jackie snapped, "What do you want?!"
"I will have Mr. Johnson drop the charges if you stop seeing my nephew!" Larry retorted, his voice filled with frustration.
"I will never agree to those terms. I love Gaston, and I refuse to let a monster like you keep us apart!" Jackie shot back, her anger palpable.
Just as Larry was about to respond, Ryan burst into the room.
"You have no right to keep my client here. My client did not steal any money. There is no evidence that she did!" Ryan replied angrily.
Larry became scared because he knew that Ryan was Prince Adam's cousin. Larry had the charges dropped, but he was not happy about it.

Larry told the police to release Jackie. They took her to the hospital to recover from giving birth. Jackie was very upset about losing the baby and wanted to move to England to get away from Larry Hatching. Martin and his family were also moving to England. Martin and Peggy are engaged to get married. Eric Randall and his wife, Princess Helen, lived in England. Jackie and Eric went to high school together. Eric was going to offer Jackie a job as his paralegal, and she was planning to continue attending college. Jackie was going to live with Peggy, Martin, and his family until she was able to get her own place.
Several months later, Gaston came back home and went to visit Jackie, but she was missing, and he couldn't locate Peggy either. Upon returning home, Connie informed him that his uncle had Jackie arrested for theft and that she had miscarried while in jail. Furious, Gaston hurried to his uncle's house. When he got there, he was taken aback to find Monica present. Although she tried to embrace him and inquire about his well-being, Gaston shoved Monica away, unable to tolerate her presence.
"I'm happy to see you, Gaston. Do you remember Monica? She's Julie's sister," Larry said.
"I don't care about that witch!" Gaston shot back angrily.
Monica felt hurt and upset, and she left the house in tears.
"How could you be so rude to Monica?!" Larry asked, furious.
"I've already told you I want nothing to do with her. How could you have Jackie wrongfully arrested for something she didn't do?!" Gaston retorted.
"I have no connection to Jackie's arrest. Mr. Johnson, her boss, is the one who accused her of stealing money!" Larry said, fuming.
"I don't believe you! You're paying Jackie's boss to deceive the police. I can't understand why you're trying to ruin my life. You took my father's money from my family. You never offered us financial help during our tough times, and now you think you can meddle in my life. You're a terrible person. I want you to leave my family and me alone. You're not part of my family, and you've already caused enough damage!" Gaston retorted.
