The sound of the machine woke Adella. She was confused why she was still alive. She clearly felt her whole body shred into pieces and turn to dust with the explosion. There is no way that she was still alive.
The unknown environment made her wary. Did she really survived but how? Are they also alive? Thoughts consumed her when the door suddenly opened up. "Ms. Black! You are awake." a doctor delightfully said before coming to check her condition.
"What did you call me?" Adella questioned in confusion. Who was Ms. Black? What was going on? That's when she suddenly saw a calender in the distance. The year was 2012, however she clearly remembered that it was 2021, a few months after the Corona Pandemic.
Did she time travelled back to the past? Was someone playing a filthy joke on her?
"Ah it seems that Ms. Black has a short time memory loss due to the accident. We have to observe a few more days before going to a conclusion." The doctor said as he changed her dressing and left for other appointments.
Adella slowly slide down from the bed as she walked to the bathroom mirror. She was shocked to say the least when she saw someone else in the reflection. What in the world was going on?!
The girl in the reflection has mid-length ash-blond hair. A sharp pair of striking sapphire eyes stared back at her.
Adella herself was a beautiful lady. However years of escaping conspiracies and accidents, serving as a special soldier at the frontiers, innumerable sleepless nights at the laboratory had made her beauty like a pearl covered in dust.
Adella sat on back on her hospital bed when suddenly a sharp pain came from her head. Flashbacks zoomed through her mind. She actually transmigrated to a different world.
This world was similar to the apocalyptic novel she had found in the space. Wait, space.... Adella suddenly touched her neck only to be disappointed when she didn't find her familiar jade pendent.

The next moment she opened her eyes, she found that she was in familiar environment. The space came with her. "That's good, at least I won't have to worry about not having any supplies." it seems that space has merged with her soul.
Adella looked in her wrist to see the mark of a tattoo there. A black hole perhaps resembling a different dimension and the spiral time indicating the static time of the space.
