Valentina sat in the living hall with glass of red wine as she watched the clock tick closer and closer to midnight. The outside was still bustling with sound from neighbours and the social media was filled with the romantic vibe of a meteorite shower.
Just as the clock chimed at 12, yells and shouts of excitement filled her ears. And just moments later, it changed to screams as some meteorites started to crash everywhere.
Police sirens and ambulance resounded in the neighbourhood. Valentina was now in the two story villa in the suburbs of the city. People from the city came here in large numbers to enjoy the meteorite shower.
As for why Valentina chose such a densely packed area, it was because she wanted to practice killing zombies from the beginning and get this body trained properly.
The original Valentina used to learn dance and taekwondo. So the body was pretty flexible and agile. It just needed a more professional training.
Valentina felt a foreign energy prob around her. As a special soldier, Adella already had a strong mental strength which she noticed had become stronger after her transmigration as Valentina.
So when she felt a foreign energy engulf her, Valentina started to actively absorb the energy when she felt it wasn't harmful to her.
Slowly as she absorbed the energy her conscious started to get more and more dizzy as if she was drunk from the foreign energy.
At one point even if she didn't actively absorb it, the energy entered her subconscious.
As Valentina lost consciousness, she failed to notice that some energy were entering into the tattoo on her wrist too.

A groan broke the deafening silence of the villa. Valentina opened her eyes while rubbing them lightly to dissipate the foggy vision.
Her stomach was growling in hunger while her entire body felt painful. Valentina first tried to sit up from the couch. However when she came in contact with the space, she was astonished to find the drastic changes in her space.
The previous space could only be used for storage, however now there was clearly a fertile land, mountains in the distance, blue sky on top and even a lake beside the farming land. It was like the stereotypical space in the apocalyptic novels.
However, Valentina slowly calmed down. The changes were drastic and she still wasn't sure what had cause this change.
And looking at the time, it seems that five days have passed. However the period after the meteorite shower and awakening of power or becoming zombies was only 24 hours.
Valentina slowly tried to feel the energy inside her to see if she had any supernatural power. However looking at the energy combination inside her she was shocked.
Suddenly a round ball was floating with three colors bound with each other with harmony. Black...resembling the original mental or psychic power. Purple resembling the Thunder power, a very good offensive power. And lastly blue resembling water.
Water and thunder are already a deadly combination. Moreover she wouldn't have to worry about shortage of water in the future. Originally she thought of looting the water from the mineral water company warehouses after apocalypse but now there is not much need of that.
And adding space to her is like adding extra wings to the already powerful dragon.
Now many people might think that water is auxiliary attribute and needs protection with no offensive power. However they often forget about the violent dark ocean that can seize their lives. Everything around us has water.
The different forms of water....water vapor and ice. Actually after getting the original book in the space, Adella read a lot of apocalyptic novels to gain some insight. Ice is actually just a mutated ability from the water department.

Valentina shook her head to dispell the terrifying idea roaming in her head. After Adella was poisoned she tries her best to find any cure any antidote. A craze for survival gripped her heart and a slight psychotic tendency was born.
However as a soldier, she never acted on her dark instincts. Except...when she blew up everything and took everyone to hell.
Now looking at the improved space around her and the clear lake, Valentina wanted to try if the lake was like the magical spring in the novels. Valentina took a few steps inside the clear water when she felt a calming aura engulf her.
The water felt full of energy like the one she was absorbing that night to awaken her powers. It seems the space has mutated due to that energy. However it was really cheap for her too.
In a few moments, Valentina felt her body strengthen more and nearly reach the peak of a top special force soldier of her last life. Naturally she was happy to know that, she was a little worried that her body would not be able to sustain her abilities and skills.
Afterall a broken bowl can't hold holy water.
Valentina came out with water dripping all over the place, looking like a water nymph who accidentally came to the human realm.
She used her water abilities to evaporate the excess water when suddenly a sharp pain filled her mind. It seems that she still needs to practice more and expand her mental strength and power levels of her abilities.
Giving up, Valentina came out of the space and went to her bedroom to change into a pair of white tracksuit and sneakers. The originally wet hair was now tightly wrapped in a towel before she blow dried it and then left to dry naturally.
After that Valentina went to the kitchen. There was a occasional growling from outside. The zombies have already been mutated for five day. Thankfully the villa had a iron clad, thick black gate thay prevented any zombies from entering.
Valentina took out some frozen dumplings from space and a steamer. She took a bottle of mineral water and put the steamer on the stove with the dumplings. The gas tank still has more than half filled so cooking wasn't a hassle.
Being hungry and thristy for five day while in coma had clearly taken a toll on her, Valentina cooked some ramen and microwaved a burger and pizza too to fill her up.

Finally finishing lunch with a coke, Valentina exhaled a sigh of relief and satisfaction. She wrapped up the remaining things in the kitchen into the space and went back to space to see the changes.
The space area has expanded from the original 5,000 square km to about 1,00,000 square km now. So it could be said that it was almost enough for her to build a entire ecosystem here for herself.
The farming area was about 50,000 square km and the lake occupied a 10,000 square km area. That leaves about another 20,000 square km with mountains and the remaining 20,000 square km completely barren.
Valentina decided to build a wooden, two story cabin house beside the mountain and close to the lake. There would be warehouses beside the farming area to store supplies. And the left could be developed slowly accoding to need.
Just as Valentina was about to explore the mountains, a slight tick came from her mental boundary. Someone has entered the villa. And it was not a zombie.
