Marty went to the door of his house, taking out his key but it didn't work. Now he's getting worried. He knocked on the door, "Hey! Anyone home! There's something wrong with my key!"
George said on the other side of the door, "Please - not now! Tomorrow! Give me another day!"
Marty shouted, "It's Marty, Dad! Open up! Where are Dave, Linda, and Annie?"
George replied, "Marty? No, that's impossible. All of the kids were run out of town...and who's Annie?"
Marty's face fell. Where were his siblings...where was Annie?
Marty insisted, "Dad, please! Don't make that kind of joke!" Marty thought, 'I've got a bad feeling about this...' He added, "What are you talking about though? I didn't run out of town! I'm right here! Where is Annie?"
George replied, "This is a trick! Go away! And I don't know Annie, I told you that!"
Marty stated, "Dad, please! Listen! Annie is my cousin, she's my girlfriend!"
Lorraine pleaded, "Leave us alone! Haven't we suffered enough?! And as my husband said, we don't know Annie."
Marty was fighting back tears. What happened? Something just wasn't right. He needed answers.
Marty sadly commented, "Mom, please stop this! Let me in!"
Lorraine told George, "It sounds like Marty but it has to be a trick..."
Marty started to cry a bit, "Mom!"
Lorraine shouted, "Go away! Shame on you!"
Marty pleaded, crying, "How can I convince you...? How can I see Annie...?"
George suggested, "Tell me something only Marty knows!"
Marty thought of something, sniffling a bit, "I got a scar on my left knee, from skateboarding the courthouse steps when I was twelve."
George perked up, "That's right!"
Lorraine added, "Oh my Lord! What are you waiting for, George. Let him in!"
After fiddling with the locks, the door finally opened with George there - in a wheelchair. Marty started to sob now.
Marty asked, "Oh my God Dad... What happened to you?! What's going on?! Where is everyone? Where's Annie?!"
"What do you think happened, butthead?!"
Marty spun on his heels, seeing Biff Tannen there and holding a baseball bat.
Marty asked, "Biff?"
That's when George and Lorraine went back inside their house. Marty had stopped crying for the most part but was still very confused.
Biff commented, "I thought we told you to stay out of town, shrimp! You and your siblings!"
Marty started to say, "Biff, I'm sure whatever is going on, I'm sure we can handle it..." That's when two other men came out from behind Biff. He finished, "Reasonably... Who're they?"
Biff blew a raspberry, "Like you don't know Cliff and Riff."
Riff asked, "Whaddaya think we should do with him, baby bro?"
Cliff answered, "What we shoulda done years ago, big bro..."
The three Tannens surrounded the youngest McFly.
Biff smirked, "I'm gonna to enjoy this, McFly..."
Marty decided to stall, holding back tears, "Wait, wait, I'm tryin' to process here! Where are my siblings? Where is Annie? What the hell did you do to my dad?!"
Cliff answered, "Your siblings have been run out of town by us!"
Riff raised a brow, "Though we don't know Annie."
Biff added, "And besides, your dad has been in that wheelchair since before you were born, butthead. You better hope that he has a spare, 'cuz you're gonna need one in three seconds!"
At those words, Biff was about to hit Marty with his bat. Marty dodge to the left, getting on top of a crate. Biff nearly missed the bug zapper.
Marty was furious and so upset, "Why are you guys so pissed at me?"
Riff laughed, "You don't remember? You really have lost it, McFly!"
Biff added, "Think back. The thing with the manure truck...?"
Marty pointed out, smiling a bit, "Which one...?" Riff got his golf club ready to strike at Marty. Marty dodged it again and went to the left again. He thought, 'Where are you Annie...? Don't tell me that you don't exist here...? Oh right...you can't answer that...' He was holding back more tears but he managed to question, "How long have you been coming down on my dad like this?!"
Cliff answered, "Ever since that school dance, when Georgie laid Biff out in the parking lot!"
Riff laughed at that. Biff was embarrassed, "Shut up! It wasn't funny!"
Cliff commented, "Someone messes with the Tannen family, the Tannen family never lets him forget about it."
Cliff got his golf club ready but Marty dodged and went in front of the house again.
Marty did a double take, "So now the Tannens are some kinda minor-league mafia?"
Riff growled, "Hey, watch you're callin' minor-league!"
Biff confirmed, "The Tannen Gang's the first most dangerous crime family in California! We got connections all over the place."
Marty was in shock, "No way!"
Biff asked, "You don't believe me?" That's when he pulled out a yellow gun at Marty. Marty put his hands up, pleading to him at that moment. He thought, 'Please no, please don't... Doc where are you? We need to get back!' Biff pulled the trigger but instead of blasting Marty to kingdom come, it produced a light instead. Marty let out a breath that he didn't know that he was holding. He added, "Check it out!"
Biff held it up, revealing the writing.
Marty read it, "To your family from mine, in gratitude for your continued service. J.J. Valenti."
Biff commented, "That's Don Valenti, Godfather of the Sacramento Mob."
Riff added, "The third most dangerous family in California!"
Biff got his baseball bat ready again as Marty dodge to the left. Marty got on top of the crate again. That's when he got an idea.
Marty asked, "When did I run out of town?"
Riff answered, "Two years ago. Don'tcha remember?"
Cliff said, "We made a deal that we'd go easier on your old man if you left."
Biff told him, "But now you're back, so the kid gloves can come off!"
Marty jumped, making Biff hit the crate. Cliff grumbled as it hit him in the head. Marty tried to ask more questions but none of the brothers were having it. Marty jumped the next hit, making the crate go in front of the bug zapper. Marty got up on the crate with the bug zapper right behind him. Marty ducked another swing from Biff, making him get zapped. Griff and Cliff went over to him to help but wound up getting zapped too. Marty quickly grabbed up the yellow gun, in case he needed it later.
Marty didn't have time to mourn Annie, he heard someone pulling up at that moment. 'Doc?' He thought, the tears in his eyes. He turned around and his thoughts were quickly dashed.
There, behind him was a long back limo.
Someone said, "I never should have let that floozy talk me out of rubbin' out your grandfather."
