In the emergency room
Lisa lay in her hospital bed, clutching her belly as contractions wracked her body. Her eyes were wide with fear.
"Lisa, we need to get this baby out now. The heart rate is dropping." Dr. Thompson said monitoring Lisa's fetal heart rate
"Oh God, is my baby okay?" Lisa said panicking
"We're doing everything we can. (to the nurse) Get me 50 mg of terbutaline, stat!" Dr. Thompson "Yes, doctor." The nurse replied
"Lisa, you're hemorrhaging. We need to control the bleeding." Dr. Thompson said
"What's happening? Why can't I push?" Lisa asked scared
"Your cervix isn't dilating enough. We're going to need a new team to assist." Dr. Thompson paused and turned to a nurse "We need obstetrics emergency team, stat!"
Additional doctors and nurses rush in
"What's the situation?" Dr. Patel, The best Obstetrician asked, his eyes scanning the room then settled on Dr.Thompson
"Severe hemorrhage, inability to push, and fetal distress." Dr. Thompson hurriedly but carefully explained the situation
'This is all my fault, if I wasn't so caught up in heartbreak, skipping meals forgetting I have a little life to take care of, it's all my fault, he made a promise to be with me while I'm in Labour but where is he now?' Lisa thought to herself
"Lisa, we're going to try some oxygen and episiotomy to help with the bleeding." Dr.Patel said assessing Lisa
"Just save my baby!" Lisa yelled desperately, she doesn't care if she dies all that matters is her baby
The Monitors start beeping erratically "Lisa, breathe" A nurse told Lisa, offering her hand which Lisa immediately grabbed flashing the nurse a pained but grateful smile
"Lisa's coding! We need to intubate!" Doctor Patel said
"Get the crash cart!" Dr. Thompson said rushing to assist
"My...baby..." Lisa's voice started to fade, her eyes struggling to stay open
"We're not losing you, Lisa. We're getting you to the OR, now!" Dr.Patel said
Nurses quickly prep Lisa for transport
"We need to move, now!" Dr. Thompson said to the team who rushed
Lisa was wheeled out of the room, struggling to give birth, surrounded by the frantic medical team.
Jisoo turned limp, Jungkook's face paled, everyone was scared when the caught a glimpse of Lisa being moved to the OR
They quickly followed after
_Operating Theater_
Lisa was rushed into the OR, surrounded by a team of surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses.
"Alright, let's move. We need to stabilize Lisa and deliver this baby, now." Dr. Patel said to the team
