_ICU_ Everyone anxiously paced back and forth in front of the ICU
"How is she?" Jennie asked a nurse who came out of the room
"She's stable, but critical, the doctors will update you soon" The nurse replied
"And the baby?" Jieun asked worriedly "The baby's doing well you can see are in the nursery
"Thank God" Han said breathing a sigh of relief
Dr. Patel walked out of the ICU and smiled at them "We've done everything we can. It's now up to Lisa"
"Will she make it?" Jungkook asked desperate "we're doing everything possible, but the next 24 hours are crucial" Dr.Thompson answered honestly while also stepping out of the ICU
"She'll pull through, she has to" Chaeyoung whispered to herself
"Can we go see her?" Haewon asked "Not now, she has been sedated and might be unconscious for the next 12 hrs, but after that you can see her, I'll inform you when" Dr.Thompson smiled and left along with Mr. Patel after giving a nod
"And I need Lisa's daughter's name?" A nurse asked "Um, actually—" "Hailey, her name's Hailey, Jeon Hailey" Jungkook answered. The nurse nodded then left
"You don't get to make that choice and her surname isn't Jeon if you don't know" Jennie said a hushed tone, she doesn't need people overhearing their private matters
"Her surname is Jeon and there's nothing you can do about it" Jungkook answered "Oh please—" "Excuse me, but Miss Jisoo is requesting your presence" A nurse unknowingly interrupted Chaeyoung
"We're not done talking" Jennie said before leaving "We definitely aren't" Taehyung said under his breath
"Unnie, how do you feel?" Jennie asked standing beside Jisoo's bed "How's Lisa?" Jisoo asked her hand held Haewon's tighter
"She's fine, she's currently in the ICU, we'll be able to meet her after 12 hrs" Jisoo nodded "And the baby?"
"She's okay, she's in the private NICU right now" Jisoo nodded once again
"And apparently, her name's Hailey, Jeon Hailey" Chaeyoung said "What?!" Haewon asked
"Yep, he said it and we couldn't do anything about it" Jennie replied "It's okay, we'll deal with it later"
_Hailey's NICU room_. "Hailey's doing well. We're monitoring her oxygen levels and weight" Dr. Lee told Jungkook and the rest of BTS, A nurse walks into the private NICU room after bowing to them
"Will she need surgery?" Namjoon asked concerned "Not at this time, we'll keep her in the NICU for observation" Dr.Lee said with a reassuring smile which made shoulders sag in relief
_In Hailey's NICU room_.
Hailey lays snugly in her incubator, surrounded by beeping machines and soft lightening
"Hello, little one!, it's time for your check-up" Hailey's Private nurse-Emma, said smiling
Emma gently lifted Hailey out of the incubator, placing her on a warm examination table
"Good afternoon, Dr.Lee" Emma greeted Dr.Lee who just came in after exchanging a few words with BTS
"Good afternoon to you too, Emma" He replied smiling and made his way to Hailey "How's she doing?" He asked
"Vital signs are stable, Doctor. Oxygen level at 92%" Emma reported to Dr. Lee who was examining Hailey
"Excellent, let's check her respiratory rate" Dr. Lee said listening with a stethoscope. Hailey's tiny chest rose and fell steadily.
"Good lung development, Now, let's check her weight."
"4.2 pounds" Emma replied after weighting Hailey "Perfect. Right on track" Dr. Lee smiled
Both Dr. Lee And Emma keep examining Hailey. Along the way, Dr. Lee's eyebrows furrowed
"Hailey's bilirubin levels are slightly escalated. We'll need to monitor her for Jaundice." Dr. Lee said concerned
"And her blood sugar level are borderline low." Emma said noting
"Common issues for pre-mature babies. We'll adjust her feeding schedule and monitor closely" Dr. Lee said reassuringly
"How is she?" Jungkook asked entering the room "She's doing well, considering her pre-mature birth. We're addressing minor issues but she's strong" Jungkook was relieved
The door was once again pushed open, Jisoo walked in and glared at Jungkook for the slightest second before turning her attention to the two professionals in the room
"Can I hold her?" She asked softly "Of course!, Skin-to-Skin contact is great for her" Emma replied gently passing Hailey to Jisoo
Hailey snuggled into Jisoo's warmth, her tiny hand grasping Jisoo's finger
