"Mom! Hailey tripped!" Taehyun yelled while running into the his parents room where his mom was laying in bed watching a movie on the TV.
"Where's your dad?" Jennie asked getting up after pausing the movie, She picked Taehyun up.
"He's helping her." Jennie nodded and walked downstairs, seeing Taehyung sitting on the sofa and Hailey in his laps as he disinfected her wound.
Hailey whimpered in pain from time to time while sucking on the lollipop Taehyung gave her.
"How did this happen? Under your watch?" Jennie asked getting to the last step."In my defense it wasn't under my watch since I wasn't technically watching her."
"And why?" I asked but he just pointed to the TV where a football game was playing. "Really, you got carried away? with that?" Jennie asked sitting opposite it.
"All these years and I still can't understand your obsession over this sport." "And I can't seem to understand your obsession over shopping."
Jennie gasped dramatically, "Did you hear that, Hailey?" "Shopping is an art—" "Yeah, Of course it is," Taehyung rolled his eyes placing a bandage over Hailey's knee
"As I was saying—" Jennie glared at Taehyung "—Shopping is an Art, it makes us ladies feel loved and appreciated, I mean who'll spend your money if not us and when you give us your money, it just gives us this weird feeling, and if we don't go shopping how'll I get all those lingeries you love?"
Taehyung stiffed and looked at a smirking Jennie "Speaking Of which, I got a new one yesterday but since you believe Shopping is a waste of—"
"No, I was just joking my love, I understand you need to shop and I'll keep giving you the money to do so." Taehyung placed Hailey on the couch
"Hm, you'll get your birthday gift later, when everyone else is asleep." Taehyung's smile grew "Oh, Dad, I have a gift for you." Taehyun yelled getting out of Jennie's hold before running upstairs.
"Where're the rest of the kids you're meant to be watching?" Jennie asked picking up the remote which was snatched by Taehyung.
"They're building a sandcastle in the backyard." Taehyung said.
"But, it's my birthday, why are you guys giving me so much work—" "What do you mean? We only asked you to watch the kids."
"Exactly, do you know how stressful it is? I'm the birthday boy, I should be lounging in bed while you keep the kids away from me." Jennie clicked her tongue.
"Not sure if that's possible. I mean, keeping the kids away is your job and I'm the one usually relaxing."
"That's not fair, but still why aren't the other guys helping me, I hate this." "You hate looking after the kids?" Jennie asked faking innocence
"No, of course not, I hate looking after the kids on my own, I'm going to get dark circles." Jennie laughed.

"Jae stop running." Jennie warned placing a plate of fruits in front of Jisoo who smiled, They were at the terrace, not only were they going to be watching fireworks, they had some of their own.
The terrace was heavily decorated, with 2025 banners hanging around, Tables filled with different kinds of food, There was a board where everyone stuck their stick notes to, the sticky notes contains the wishes each person had for 2025–What they wanted to change, what they wanted to have and what not.
There was another table filled with expensive wine which they were going to pop as soon as it clocked 12. The terrace was buzzing with activity.
10 minutes till twelve, they all gathered in a circle and started to pray thanking God for letting them see a new year.
At exactly 12, the entire sky lit up with fireworks and the men yelled before rushing to where they kept their stock.
The kids squealed while running, "Wow. It's beautiful!" Hailey awed as the sky just kept getting lit.
"Yah Kookie, let's do that together!" Lisa yelled running to him.
"3...2...1!" "Happy New Year!" They all yelled as Chaeyoung finished the count down.
"I'm soo happy!" Hoseok yelled "when aren't you?" Jennie asked with an eye roll. "Seriously, Jennie? Starting the year by insulting me, I'm offended, really, no jokes." He pouted and walked away, leaving the girls who were chatting while eating their first food in 2025.

This journey has been absolutely fantastic, and I want to thank everyone who supported me, even though I know some times my story isn't the best, I'll pray to God that'll he'll give me the strength and ability to help me work harder this year.
I'm sorry this chapter is short, I actually started writing it on Taehyung's birthday but I was so occupied so a few minutes ago I snuck away from my family and guest to give you guys this.
The news years celebration was actually based on the traditions my families and I have, and I'm grateful for them
Anyways, I pray this year will be your year of celebration, I'm honestly happy we all got to see 2025.
