_Meanwhile in the ICU_.

Lisa lay motionless in the ICU bed, surrounded by the steady beeps of machines monitoring her vital signs. The soft hum of the ventilator and the occasional alarm from the cardiac monitor broke the silence.

IV drips delivered medication and fluids into her veins

The clear tubes snaked into her arms, secured with tape. The drip, drip, drip of the IV fluid echoed through the room.

A nasogastric tube inserted through her nose provided nutrition.

Lisa's chest rose and fell with each assisted breath. Her pale skin was dry and cool to the touch.

Jungkook sat beside her, his eyes fixed on her face. His hands clasped her cold ones, Determined to warm up her cold hands with his warm and gentle touches

The nurse, Karen, entered the room, checking the monitors and IV lines. "No change, Mr.Jeon. She's stable, but we need to wait for the doctor's assessment."

Jungkook nodded, his voice barely above a whisper. "Thank you."

As Karen's footsteps echoed through the empty hallway, once again the ICU fell silent when her footsteps became distant, the machines continued their steady beeps, the only sound in the stillness.

Jungkook kissed Lisa's forehead, his lips lingering there for a long time before he finally pulled back and sat properly

His eyes scanned her face, her cheeks were a lot more thinner than when he last saw her, she was visibly thin now that she's unwell

"Lisa, baby, I'm sorry, I was so stupid, I should have told you. I should have told you, I didn't even think twice before lying to you and putting you under so much stress."

"I almost lost you because of my stupidity. I almost lost the love of my life, I don't know what would have happened to me if you actually left."

Tears streamed down Jungkook's face, his eyes were puffy and bloodshot, a result of crying non-stop. He went to go see Hailey and she's his literal copy despite the fact she hasn't grown.

Lisa's fingers twitched.

Jungkook snapped his head up. "Lisa?" He called and held her hand tighter. Once again her finger twitched

Her eyelids fluttered open and Jungkook couldn't be happier, his eyes once dull suddenly brightened.

He instantly pushed the button at the top of Lisa's bed and held her hand tighter

Lisa squinted her eyes trying to get used to the bright light, she winced in pain. The ICU room was blurry "baby?" She slowly turned her head to the voice that called her

Her eyes cringed with disgust when she saw the person and it only got worse when she recalled what he called her by

Jungkook flinched seeing the amount of disgust and hatred she held in those eyes that once looked at him lovingly

"Who exactly are you?" Lisa asked her voice sharp and stern "W-What?, don't tell me you lost your memories?!"

"Sadly, I didn't, I remember it all, from your horrible words, to our divorce, to my struggles to give birth, and the fact I almost lost my life.." she faced him "I remember everything."
