The lights finally turned green. Jieun scurried to her feet a hopeful smile on her face. But it was all crushed when she saw the doctors, nurses and surgeons all come out with a sad face

When she saw Dr. Patel she had a tiny ray of hope, she won't lose her sister, or so she thought

Dr. Patel took off his mask to reveal a sad smile "My deepest condolence, we tried everything but she's in a better place" The doctor stopped his face pale, when his eyes landed on Jungkook's cold face

Dr. Patel gulped when Jennie let out a cold laughter but it gradually turned to sobs "Lisa" She cried clutching the sleeve of Woosung's shirt

"Uncle, My Sister's gone!, she's gone, she left me, she left us, she didn't even see her daughter's face" it was rare to see Jennie cry talk less of being vulnerable

"This better be a prank, My Sister Can't leave me, she's my twin, I can't.., this better be a prank" Chaeyoung looked broken the exact same way she was on the inside

Tears slid down her face without warning, her wails quickly filled the entire floor.

"Auntie, Tell him to stop joking, just yesterday, she told me she'll never leave me, she said she'd annoy me for a hundred more years, Auntie, it hasn't even been 24 hours" Her legs gave in and she fell on her knees but was quickly pulled up by Han

"No....Not my Lisa" Jungkook mumbled, He stumbled back

"My baby!, My Lisa!" Haewon said wailing
"Oh God.....Not our Lisa" Woosung said tearfully

The hallway filled with anguish, a collective scream of despair "I'm so sorry, we did everything possible..She suffered severe hemorrhage" Dr. Patel said softly

"You promised she'd be okay!" Jennie said accusingly "Sometimes, despite our best efforts...When it's time for them to go, there's nothing we can do"

"Shut up!, it wasn't her time to go" Chaeyoung yelled 'First our parents, then torture upon torture, then Jimin, then Jae, Now Lisa, can life get any worse'

Jungkook stumbled out of the hallway, overcome with grief, he stopped the boys from following him "I-I just want to be alone"

Everyone was crumbled, their whole world crashing, a world without Lisa is a world they wouldn't want to live in

At the hospital corridor, Jungkook's figure, shoulders slumped back, eyes stuck to the ground, tears slid down his face like a broken faucet

He was already suffering without seeing Lisa, not waking up to her bright, beautiful smile, her teasing and everything about her but now...

She's gone, he won't ever see her again, he won't be able to hold her, Tears streamed down his face as he slid down to the floor, his world crumbling, the pain unbearable for him

Meanwhile.
"We need to see her!, we need to say goodbye!" Haewon said "Yes, please..." Woosung said his eyes teary

"Of course, we'll prepare her room" Dr. Patel said softly bowed then left

"Jisoo, our Lisa is gone" Jieun said through her sobs, her tears already created a wet spot on Hyunjin's shirt but he couldn't care less
